If we lose this one , Leo needs to lead the team in an apology to Mik. He has pitched a beauty and gotten no support.

I know Choo has had this ankle issue plaguing him, but I'm losing my patience with giving him the benefit of the doubt, the lack of production is piling up.. his signing IMO is proving to be a major major bust....well we have six more years to see him turn this around...

Umm, no thanks.

Oh that's right. We have so many other options to explore out there don't we?

Rev had mentioned platooning Martin. That kid covers a lot of ground - wonder about his arm though - he hits from the right, his avg. and OBP are considerably better than Martin, and this is a year to find out what we've got going forward. At least according to Thad Levine.

Nothing to lose, perhaps something to gain IMO.

It's too bad Skole and Hoying don't look like they're going to be ML ballplayers. Those are our main 2 CF options in AA and AAA. Skole looks like he's a wasted 1st round pick.

I don't see D-Rob as a MLB player. I don't see any real benefit of him staying on the 40 man past this season.

I'm sorry. I thought you meant in the future. I doubt Robertson will be on the team next year. I have no problem with platooning him this year. I hope we upgrade considerably in the OF next year.

Edit: Rev kinda beat me to it.

Sorry, do believe that might have been Murph.

I had a nip last night but was up at 630 am and headed to work, just got finished and tuned in. Doesn't look like I missed our offensive breakout tonight

You might be right. I just don't see the downside of trying a little something in CF. If nothing else, maybe it'll wake up the buckethead we have out there now.

If you were listening to Thad Levine earlier, he made note that this was going to be the toughest off season for the FO in at least 4 years to determine who would be on that 40 man roster.

I hope that Choice makes great strides next season and proves he can play everyday.

Jackson didn't do too well last night. 4 runs in 5 innings.

I was more concerned with the 8 hits, only 2 of the runs he gave up were earned runs
