Reed was a great player who always seemed to me like he is a class act. Not sure why he went out of his way to bash Manziel. Then again, lots of folks seem to enjoy that.

Everyone wants him to fail and players probably want to pound him into the ground. Reed is very passionate about his team Buffalo, but probably just took it too far there.

I think he just rubs people the wrong way, some of these players would kill to be able to be out on the field again and Johnny has loads of talent but seems to not care or take the game seriously. People like to root against people like that!

I think people see what he is doing in his free time and assume that is all he is doing.

I think that is very unfair. He has been nothing but a hard worker and wants to improve. He might not be a good/great NFL player, but he works hard just like every other player. People assume he doesn't bc of his off the field antics.

He puts most of it on himself with the hype and pressure, but he wants that IMO. He wants the challenge.

I'm a lifelong Browns fan but I find it hard to root for the kid. And it all started on draft day when his name was finally called & he made that dumbass cash gesture walking on the stage to meet the Commish.

Yeah but John Q Pubic doesn't know that, like you said they see someone doing stupid chit and come to the conclusion he doesn't care! So why care about him? I don't hope he fails but he will, getting drafted by Cleveland made sure of that...
