Well i came in damned near last in the rankings competition last year, even though I made the playoffs in every competitive league I played in, winning 2 of four,so either I didn't follow my own advice, or I do a much better job in season than preseason. Anyways, lets see how badly I can place this year.

I appreciate the kind words. ANd yes, its all part of this elaborate conspiracy the other 20 or so of us have to get you to come back into the fold this year!

MJ Drew? I typed MJD, but then went, ya know, I think only Frenchie deserves a nickname, because I like Frenchie. Then I didn't know, is his last name Jones-Drew, or is it Drew? then I thought, who the hell cares, he's playing in Oakland.

I must say, I am a little green when it comes to Sankey. I should do some studying because he will be outside my top 24. I like yhe Ballsy call on Monte. Hope you're dead wrong on Spiller. I know nothing about college football, but you have to love sankey's opportunity... from all i have heard they plan on him being the work horse there, so as long as he doesnt get hurt he should average 20+ carries per game... that alone is enough of a reason to take a gamble on him, and enough for him to be a pre season favorite to be a top 20 back, if not top 15...

Yeah I don't expect either DMC or MJD, notice how low i have them anyways, to play more than 10 games, and if they do it'll be because they used Murray and Reece heavily anyways. But with Schuab and Carr they will be running as much as possible

A couple notable oversights on my part after giving the list a more thorough reading. ..
Lance Dunbar and David Wilson.. should probably have put them in the high 30's mid 40's.

Which of course knocks Lat. Murray off.

Mostly its good. But I think Ball at 4 is crazy high. Maybe even about 15 spots or so. I also think D. Martin will end up a few spots higher.

Its simply because knowshon Moreno had a top 5 RB season last year with the Broncos, Ball is more talented than Moreno, so everyone thinks that Ball will have a similar season to Moreno... I don't see it either, but only because I see no way for the broncos offense to be as good as it was last season... and if it gets worse, you know that will directly affect Ball on a team that is pass first...

With Ball you just have to look back over Manning's career and realize RB's in his offense are fantasy gold. In the 2000's the top RB for fantasy points was of course LT. After him though was actually Edgerrin James. No RB will face easier boxes than that of one playing with Peyton. Last year I think close to 70% of the snaps the Broncos faced 6 or fewer in the box. Moreno did good but not great in these situations. Ball over the 2nd half of the season was actually the better runner of the two. Have to think in year 2 Ball will be even better as that is the year most players make the biggest leap in playing ability. Throw in the Broncos did increase the OL with Clady coming back and moving Franklin inside to give the Broncos now the biggest Inside OL players in the league.

Basically the first part of what Spiller said. If a guy who was a healthy scratch for much of 2012 can do what he did, Ball can be better. . Much better.

As to the sub point of not seeing them repeat. .yea I'm not seeing another all time record seeing season either, but they'll still be a top 3 offense, most likely still #1, even with a drop off.

Throw in broncos have said they plan on running more this season than last.

The Broncos like Ball as both a runner and a pass-catcher, and they like him at the goal line. He's young, as far as I can tell he's never missed a game, and Peyton now trusts him.

I think only injury or fumbles could keep him below 250 FF points; 275 is probably a better guess.
