Defensively not sure he could be much worse there than as a catcher and I know he's hitting some minor league pitching but offensively in the ML he sucks bad. May be a career minor league 1B. HaHa!

Is it 9 games below .500 and counting, this is a major disappointment for the entire organization and fan base no doubt! It will get tragically worse from here on out probably but hopefully Holland gives them some positives the 2nd half, though I concede this is likely a ML worst record team

At this point, be very careful with bringing anyone else back. If you bring back someone like a holland, let them get their feet wet. Take it slow. Conserve yu. Trade soria/frasor/rios. Get some prospects. Get that first overall pick.

Go fuckin get em in 2015. We'll have all the dogs healthy (besides perez), a ton of new prospects from trades, a logjam in the middle infield, and we'll get the best prep talent in the world come the june draft. Freakin light at the end guys. If I have to say it every day, I will. Good times can and will come.

At least we have a very good and valid reason for sucking so bad. I'd say Boston's season is way more disappointing than ours.

From an expectation standpoint at the beginning of the season I think you are correct, after the BoSox won the WS last year but I think we also had high expectations at the start. Dealing with injuries is awful but being the worst team in baseball sucks really bad!

I think it is safe to say that our 1b depth at AA and AAA is not very good. I still say put Gallo at first and have Profar learn third.

Well, I just got back in the country and find we're in last place. As bad of luck as we've had with injuries we might as well be there. Time to enjoy watching Odor play. And make a couple trades. I wouldn't be so quick to trade rios. I thought choice would be ready to take over next season, but he's clearly not. Love Soria, but we need to offer him up and see what we can get.

I agree with this if EA is not traded. You would have to take a risk and believe that Profar can be our everyday SS, but I would trade try to trade EA and his contract. I doubt they do it at all unless they know Profar has recovered.

Looks like the best way to conserve Yu is to pitch him against AL West teams.
