One of the biggest issues with elvis this year is his lack of plate discipline, he used to walk a good amount but its taken a dump this year

Though the uptick in doubles is good, on pace for 36 this year

I personally would hate seeing the Angels be successful more than any other AL team.

A's for me, but it's close. I don't think that Angels rotation will hold for a playoff run even if they get a WC

After Soto getting arrested for pot and this team losing it's 20th out of 23rd game, I don't even want to ask what else can go wrong. If I ask, it will happen. This truly is a season for the record books.

Anyone checked on what Oddibe McDowell is up to these days? Maybe he could hit leadoff for us. While you're at it, see if Charlie Hough is still alive.

But hey, at least we've got Jerome Williams and his pink glove on board now. Screw it. Give him the ball. He couldn't fare any worse.

some speculated it was his downfall from ROY, that's a stretch.

It's still an illegal substance in Texas. Alcohol is much worse than pot and alcohol is legal. I don't smoke because I have a job that drug tests periodically. He had under 2 ounces and I think it's ridiculous to arrest someone for that. Our state is very strict, conservative, and closed minded. We'll probably be the 49th state to legalize, with Oklahoma being the last.

I'm giving my tickets for tonight's game to my Dad. On the tickets it says it's a 7:05 first pitch, but says 6:15 on ESPN. Does it have something to do with being a nationally televised game?

I expect a better game out of Mikolas. I may be one of very few but I think he has the stuff to succeed...eventually.
