no surprise here especially since I claimed a couple weeks ago they would pass the Sox and Yanks in the coming few weeks. The Sox are in the rear view mirror and the Yanks are not far behind.

Although I'm a lifer Yankee fan I spend more time watching the Rays in recent yrs. This team is better than their record and will prove it eventually. I don't think they can come all the way back from a horrible 1st half but they're better than the Yanks/Sox and are capable of causing a lot of trouble.

Maddon is the best mgr. in the game - you won't find many in the game who will dispute that

I believe their awful 1st half is too much to overcome. Still I would bet they will pass the Yanks before this is over. The Rays are moving in the exact opposite direction of the Yanks and I would bet that continues

I dislike the Rays even more than the Yankees and Sox so my goal for them this year is to doggedly hang on to Price and still finish in the basement.

That should be an easy task.

The way it looks now it will be the A's and Angels in the ALCS. Hate to say it but I face the facts head on, the Yankees don't have a complete team good enough to make it that far.
