my breakdown is as follows:
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 TE
1 R/W/T
1 K
1 Def
2 IDP

My question is since I can only play a maximum of 3 WRs at any time, most likely playing 3 RBs but still, how many WRs are too many?

My current team is this:

QB: Cam (K)
RB: Ball (K), Jennings (K), Thomas (?) & Pierce (?)
WR: Nelson (K), Garcon (K), Cruz (K), Patterson (K), T. Williams (?), Hunter (?) & Blackmon (?)
TE: Thomas (K) & Ertz (?)
Def: Seattle (K)

At minimum I have 9 keepers and if you add that to me needing a Kicker and two IDP that would give me 8 picks unless I keep more people.

I want to also keep Williams and at least one more RB but then I start getting into danger area with wasting high picks on a kicker and IDP.

Where should I cut off my keepers?

Just a reminder, the first three rounds of drafted players go back into the player pool so my first three picks I will get at least one and likely two stud/solid RBs.

Not sure what you're asking.

?

I would say having more than four WR is overkill...but it depends on who they are/byes, etc.

my team has a minimum but the league doesnt. The max is 17 because the first three rounds get redrafted. Hoever in that 17 would have to be Def, K and two IDPs.

I have a ton of WR talent but I dont want to just waste it or have too much just so they sit on my bench...

My question is where should I cut off my keepers? After Patterson or also keep Hunter? What about Blackmon

This is a dynasty league

I would want Blackmon in a dynasty still. Hunter not so much. I would also keep Thomas (if it's Pierre), even though you said the first three rounds are open to maybe get stud RB's, I'd still want my options to be plentiful in case the value is elsewhere.

Yes its Pierre.

I pick 5th so im thinking I will get my choice of Forte or Lacy.

Unfortunately my WR depth will precent me from drafting a stud WR in the second but thats a good problem. so 2 of my first 3 picks go to RB at minimum.

I would not keep any more than the 9 you have set... I see with your first 3 picks, you need at least one RB and at least one WR... I would not handcuff your team by owning more players, and being forced to draft specific positions... and with a very deep WR rookie class, I think you can do better than Terrance Williams, possibly even better than Patterson...

How many owners in this league??

12 team league. I am extremely high on Patterson this year.

Ive been shopping Victor Cruz but the best that I have been offered is a 4th round pick. I really want to keep Ertz because I think he is going to be a stud.

For a 4th for Cruz I think I would be at best breaking even so I would rather just keep him.

I like ertz too... But TE seems very deep again this season...SEEMS is the key word... you know that as the season goes TE will not be deep, but on paper right now, it is very deep... Probably 15 STARTABLE TEs...

Well Thomas is a no brainer to keep for me.

I was offered Dennis Pitta and pick #13 for Julius Thomas and Victor Cruz

That seems like pretty good value. Pittsburgh should be a top 6 and pick 13 for Victor makes that doable for me.

I would keep most of these guys. Who will you get in the draft that is better than Pierre Thomas or Terrance Williams? Even Zach Ertz is a good value.

Remember, these extra players correspond to picks in rounds 13 and later. If you throw them back into the player pool, that means you think you can get somebody better in those rounds. If you only have 2 IDPs, then I would say it does not really matter when you pick them, there will still be really good options available.

I wouldn't do it. You already need a RB and probably a WR in the first 3 rounds. Wouldn't want to downgrade TE so much to force you to draft graham.

I like Ertz and Pitta near the same area actually. I dont trust/like Flacco much and Ertz is in a much more explosive offense.

I was just offered Ben Tate for Victor Cruz. I know Cruz is more valuable but I already have Garcon and Nelson and am considering this. Thoughts?

QB: Cam (K)
RB: Ball (K), Jennings (K), Thomas (?) & Pierce (?)
WR: Nelson (K), Garcon (K), Cruz (K), Patterson (K), T. Williams (?), Hunter (?) & Blackmon (?)
TE: Thomas (K) & Ertz (?)
Def: Seattle (K)

I think the only way I'd make that trade is if I was sure I could get Terrence West later. Tate worries me with durability issues facing 8 in the box week after week (at least for this year without Gordon).
The nine keepers in my mind are as redlined. If I understood your earlier post on everyone's first three picks going back into the pool, you should be able to do better than Tate, whereas Cruz will contribute for years to come.
