If the Cavs can get Kevin Love without dealing Wiggins, then more power to them.

If they fail to acquire Love because they are refusing to deal Wiggins, then they are huge idiots (shocker). I think Wiggins can be very good, but he is a long way off and his game does not even fit LeBron's all that well. Kevin Love as a stretch 4 is the perfect piece to fit this team.

I believe that he was saying it's funny because the Heat are potentially in the same boat that Heat fans have chided the Lakers for. If your team sucks, another team that's actually pretty good, may benefit from it. In the Lakers case, it's Phoenix that stands to benefit.

I could be wrong, but I think they would eventually add Wiggins if it comes to even halfway through the season. But of Wiggins plays not up to caliber it could lower hos value some.

I don't think Flip sees a can't refuse type offer out there yet. And I think that's what it will take.

Didn't realize it was top 10 protected. Good chance they keep it. The Lakers 1st rounder is top 5 protected. Don't think they'll be that bad though!

Yep, Flip seems hellbent on getting Minny to the playoffs this year. That's why the asking price was so high earlier when all of the trade talks were going on and remains high now.

What's going to be interesting is what happens if and when they get close to the trade deadline and it looks like Minny won't make the playoffs.

Nothing in my comment was defensive....I was just wondering what was 'funny' if it was meant that way about any other team other than their own getting really good.

As far as sucking, like I said before, I've seen the good, bad and the middle.
Having a shitty team next year won't change my life.
As bad as it might be to watch, IF Beasley stays I promise I'll have good times, just in a different way then these last 4 years entertained me.

When your on top, the only way to go is down.
I wouldn't blame Riley if he leaves, but if he doesn't I trust him 100% to use his assets wisely and the Heat will be back in the conversation before a lot of other teams who have been rebuilding forever.

That's what Gordon said. Easy enough to look up, I just never did, because the reality of it never even sunk in.

Lakers won't be that bad record wise, but still probably will be a lottery team.
As the Cavs proved this year, you never know how the balls will bounce.
