Lebron and Bosh were in bad places where they got drafted. i can udnerstand wnating to leave and choose your destination once. But we went to 4 straight finals and won 2 rings. We hit a speedbump, so what we keep going. bosh should bail as well. Just speaks volumes on their character.

He is gone...McRoberts and Grainger our Lebron and Bosh replacements...LOL. Wonder if Riley gives them a chance to turn down our deals...wonder who we field. Have to think Wade may also sign elsewhere....

If Wade went to the Bulls, I don't think any/many Heat fans would hold it against him. We would hope he would kick James ass. We wouldn't really care...if we can spend that 20M building a long term roster.

Sad to say... .him leaving would be my preference..

If I'm Bosh, Id stay in the East and be the big banana on a 4-5 seed. Clearly Bosh wants to be a 3rd banana on a title contender.

This is so wrong simply because a win in Cleveland is more historic for him than any other city or any amount of rings unless he wins over 6.

Since 1995 the Yankees have won 5 World Series, but that 2004 title for Boston means more and trumps them all. That title and that team are legendary and will go down in history. Those 5 Yankee titles are just that....5 more Yankee titles to add to the trophy case. That win for Boston though transcended the sport and will be talked about for a long time. That title ended an over 100 year curse of no championships. Sure it's just one title, but it's one that no one will ever forget.

It means more to Lebron. But when talking heads on ESPN, or any other media outlet has a discussion about top 10 of all-time. I can't put Lebron (saying he wins one in Cleveland) with 3 rings, had a better career than someone like Magic who had 5. Sure, it's feel good story and all. But in the grand scheme of things, it's all about numbers. I think what Duncan's done in San Antonio is by far more impressive as he didn't do it in an already established franchise and never had a big free agent come join him (he did have the Admiral as a mentor for several years).

Can't have a speedbump during his prime. It's all or nothing every year. Greedy but he is the best

Bosh has said many times he loves being in Miami, we are offering him a max contract, so why run and bail now? Because LBJ left? He wants to be nothing more then a ring chaser as well? Geeeze somewhere Riley screwed up big time.

Bosh wants to win. At this point, I could understand why he'd want to leave. Houston is indeed a better fit for him. Having Bosh as the number one option with Wade isn't going to put Miami back in contention, although that depends on the roster. Miami's going to have to re-tool for next year's free agency.

Melo should go to Chicago. We don't know what that roster in Cleveland could do. But with a healthy (big question mark) Derrick Rose, we know that Chicago has a real strong roster, especially in the playoffs.

TT should be going to Minny if there was to be a Love deal IMO... so that's good, Waiters only? well I guess they could argue that Waiters has shown that he can play where as Wiggins is still an unknown for a long term POV. Still though, rather chance it with Wiggins...

The free agent floodgates are about to open.
Cleveland looking to build a superteam with Lebron, Irving, Love and some good pieces. Will be very interesting....

Hoping Pau Gasol signs with the Spurs, so once Duncan retires they could lure his little bro.

That all seems pretty improbable. Spurs are paying big money to Splitter for a reason

Wasn't Gilbert against that not long ago? I guess attitudes change when it's your team. He bitched so that the Lakers couldn't do the same.

Can Riley at least turn this into a sign and trade?
At least lets get something out of it ...
What's gone is gone..

It sucks, that if we suck, they get our draft pick next year.
