In curios as to what melo sees in Chicago vs LA. Going to look dumb if rose gets injured again

Idk... Chicago may be the best spot for him. He can't lose either way. I say that because

1. We know this roster, basically the same sans Deng, made the playoffs two years in a row without Rose. Should Melo come to this roster, he can be the guy to elevate the Bulls over the Hump as their go to scorer in crunch time.

2. If Rose is healthy again, Rose n Melo could be absolutely dangerous and make the bulls, in tact, a real contender to win it all.

Considering the defensive and mental philosophy remains in place. (I have doubts about Melo playing D)

This is so wrong simply because a win in Cleveland is more historic for him than any other city or any amount of rings unless he wins over 6.

Since 1995 the Yankees have won 5 World Series, but that 2004 title for Boston means more and trumps them all. That title and that team are legendary and will go down in history. Those 5 Yankee titles are just that....5 more Yankee titles to add to the trophy case. That win for Boston though transcended the sport and will be talked about for a long time. That title ended an over 100 year curse of no championships. Sure it's just one title, but it's one that no one will ever forget.

I disagree. The title for Boston was historic because of all of the folklore around "The Curse of the Bambino". Just like a World Series win for the Cubs would be historical because of that goat curse.

The only curse in Cleveland is that it's Cleveland.

Minnesota knows what getting Love would mean to Cleveland. I can't imagine them accepting any trade that doesn't include Wiggins.

The best chance of the Cavs getting Love without losing Wiggins would be getting a 3rd team involved.

The Cavs probably really want Love but they shouldn't throw out the baby with the bathwater. Dion Waiters has to go and they can package him with one or two other assets. Players will play with Lebron and Kyrie in the East. Its basically a free trip to the conference finals for the next 2 years

I feel like the Rockets still have an issue as long as Harden doesn't play defense. They needed a Deng more than a Bosh but man...the Rockets are going to score

I like that approach... Deng would've been a real contributor.

That and scoring/help off the bench is needed.

Love couldn't get the Wolves to one playoff spot, Western conf or not.... even Bosh(I know not Curry) led the raptors to two playoff years IIRC.

Curry has more of an impact than Love no? maybe you're going by the #s like the ratings then.
