Some of the reasons given by Stephen A for LeBron leaving were pretty funny.

Interviewed on SVP & Rusillo, Stephen A says the lack of bench, Mike Miller amnesty, lack of passes to his momma, and making his crew sit on the other side of the court instead of behind the Heat bench, were some of the small things that added up to LeBron's decision to leave.

Personally i'd trust the explanation given by LeBron himself over what Stephen A said a couple days ago

Heat fans, I have no sympathy for you. You took in a carpetbagger & was left at the alter by that carpetbagger.

With that being said, I am still somewhat surprised he chose to go back to Cleveland so soon. But it being the eastern conference, the team as constructed should be able to at least get to the ECF.

If they can still get Bosh and another piece or 2, they could still be decent.

Are those deals official? They were announced before the July 10 moratorium... so maybe they have the option of backing out :noidea:

Honestly at this point, Riley might prefer that.

Maybe they could all mutually agree to not sign/ be signed.

Nothing in the rules against if if they aren't signed.

Is there?

They are restricted by the $63 mil cap number now. Both McBob & Granger lose their exceptions & will count directly towards the $63 mil number now. But without Bosh & Lebron, the Heat should have roughly $30 mil to spend on 7 roster spots, depending on what Wade will make. With Bosh on the team they would only have around $10 mil to spend.

Right, but they still have space. Won't be a max player.

Bosh will determine whether or not they go full rebuild.

With LeBron going to Cleveland and Bosh going to Houston...

West gets stronger
East gets weaker

There could be even more of a disparity next season that his one

I havent seen this yet. i hope its the bulls. imagine the battles between bulls and cleveland.

Bulls would be the favorite out of the East IMO.

Maybe that's what pushes Melo to Chicago... seeing that the Heat team is broken up and that the East title is there for the taking.

If the Cavs swing Love that would put them right up there with Chicago.

This all assumes Rose manages to stay on the court and is at least close to the player he used to be.
