Also, stopping in Miami seems right. 5 hour flight from Vegas to Miami and another 8.5 hrs from Miami to São Paulo or Rio.....So when his flight lands in Miami he is supposed to announce, anybody else hear that?

Might be moot now. He really could not announce Cleveland in Miami, could he?
Doing it right is telling Wade face to face and then going to Miami and telling Riley and Arison face to face. Even I can give him a break on that.....perhaps he gives the Heat 12 hours to make a run at some free agents.Would be an ass hole thing to do. Miami's treated Lebron right his whole time with the Heat. Then again, we're not Cavs fans, so it's not like we'd attack him or camp out in his yard.

We both agree, but can he be so arrogant to think he may take the spotlight from the World Cup? Not going to happen.Wade probably knows and will know before anyone other than his family, friends. He is probably waiting till right before the flight, so he can jump flight and not have to deal with it at the moment.
Right because teams trading Superstar players mid-season on the last year of their contract always works out to a big time deal.
Just go back a few years and look at what the Magic got for Dwight Howard
Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic, Moe Harkless, Josh McRoberts, Christian Eyenga, a first-round pick from either the Nuggets or the New York Knicks in 2014, a protected first-round pick from the Sixers, a protected first-round pick from the Lakers in 2017, a second-round pick from the Nuggets in 2013 and a conditional second-rounder from the Lakers in 2015.
That looks like nothing more than some role players, salary dumps, and future picks to me. No team is going to give up a star player for another star player on his last year mid-season. If you look at some of the supposed deals the Magic could have taken during the offseason or even the previous offseason they would have been a lot better value. When you wait until the last minute you end up just having to take what you can get or be left with nothing. The Wolves actually lose leverage in a trade if they wait until the mid-season trade deadline.
Sources? Well at least he has grown up and is doing it face to face. I must say Thank you for 4 great years and hope they were the best 4 years of his pro basketball life. Don't wish him ill, but will not be rooting for Cleveland.Lebron on his way to Miami to inform the Heat that he will be signing with Cleveland

Vucevic is an excellent player & they won that trade.
The Fact that Bosh hasn't signed with Houston yet tells me LeBron is still undecided
