Lebron hasn't told ANYONE where he's going. I would like to think he'd tell Wade and Bosh, as well as Riley if he was DEFINITELY going.

There's just no reason to keep it a secret. No reason to hold everyone hostage. I think he genuinely doesn't know what he's going to do.

And I don't think he'll announce before he goes to the World Cup.

Are the SPURS suddenly making a push for Pau Gasol?

It seems unlikely, but the reports are suggesting that it is down to CHI or SAS.

It is not a typical Spurs type of approach....and I doubt it, but it is interesting.

It's so up and down, but I think he stays for 1-2 years in Miami. Be confident.

If its only 1 year then Riley should just cut bait.

That shows no commitment to staying here and our situation will be just about the same next year roster and cap wise.

Nobody wants this drama every year, do they?

I think that I look at is all the assets Cleveland has, they are young, tradeable, and they have picks. Also if he wins in Cleveland it will increase his legacy greatly.

I don't think they have quality assets, and the picks won't mean much if they start winning. They have role players......and if they trade them the quality of the team as a whole is diminished if they don't get playerS back. They're in an interesting position. To move anything more than Waiters and Thompson would make them worse no matter who they bring in. They'd have no bench, and very few shooters. They have to be VERY CAREFUL about making any trades.

And if he's crying to leave in 2 years, he'll look like the biggest, whiniest bitch ever.

My opinion is he should stay here for 2 years, then look over the NBA landscape (which will then have Durant on the market).

If those 2 went together to NY or LA, they would own the world.

If LeBron truly goes to Cleveland he is an asshole and should've told Miami this a long time ago because common sense should've told him what riley could do if the big 3 returned. Miami wasn't getting lowry, gasol, or deng unless one of the big 3 left so the only need riley really could do is get better through the draft and sign younger/more athletic role players in the areas of need

Unlikely? He'd be perfect next to TD. He's a good rebounder, passer and can post 16-17ppg still.

Their roster has more upside than the Heat. The fact is they DO have tradeable assets: Thompson, Waiters, and Wiggins are all young and good to great potential.

And your wrong Love is a superstar and would greatly affect the team. Plus once they get Lebron it will be easier to bring in shooters, like Ray Allen.

Slight upgrade from Tiago Splitter I would say.

Do you think Pau would enjoy playing with Duncan more than he has Kobe?

CBS Sports doesn't usually play the rumor game, but it was interesting for me even as a true longshot.

Maybe a 5% chance.....

If the Spurs can get Kyle Anderson and Pau Gasol to that roster, they would threaten to break the all time assisted shot record.

It would be a season long non-stop "HOCKEY ASSIST" party that we saw in the Finals.

It would be ridiculous to have 11 guys deep who can all pass the ball like a point guard.

I think he wants to play with Melo not KD.

And as turnup said if it's just a 1 yr deal/2 yr deal with player option after year 1, it makes no sense to sign him.

He is the first superstar in this era that always seems like he wants to leave/seriously consider other teams as a free agent. Other guys may be free agents but never seriously considered leaving ( see kobe, cp, dirk, and duncan) and to it multiple times is ridiculous

The fact is if they lose him, they need to rebuild.

Love is not a superstar. That term gets thrown around way too much these days.

2 bonafide superstars in the NBA:

LeBron
Durant

you can make a case for Chris Paul. Kobe certainly was one pre-injury, but not sure if he is anymore.

Guys like Love, Curry, Harden, Melo are all very good players, but not superstars. Superstars are the best of the best, guys who can carry a team to series victories in the playoffs. Love is not that.

If that happens, pencil the Spurs in for back to back titles. With his all around skillset, Pau would be a great fit with the Spurs.

If lebron goes back to Cleveland, then he really fucked Miami over. We lost on on some players that we could have used and would have had the $$ for if we knew he was leaving. If he was leaving, then Wade or Riley should have leaked something, dont give him the satisfaction of holding everyone up. if he met with you and said he was leaving then just announce it.

Like I have said before, his agent has his own agenda here. I believe he is the source most people are referring to, and i think hes the one telling the Cavs players which is why you have all these signs from everywhere that he might be going back. If lebron does stay in Miami, he needs to fire his agent. I want him here in miami, but my gut says he is leaving.

He owes Sterling an apology. He at least apologized for the things he said in PRIVATE. Lebron trashed him, Gilbert has never apologized for saying what he did, hell he had the letter up until 3 days ago. I mean what a douche.

Always wants to leave???

He spent 7 years in Cleveland with no roster. He went to Miami to win and I think te back of his mind he wanted to always go back to Cleveland, this is the best and perfect opportunity to do so.

My point is LeBron knew what pat could do with the roster if the big 3 came back so if you knew you didn't want to come back, he should've told miami this last week. Miami made more improvements to their roster than Cleveland since free agency. Basically what I'm saying is if he goes to Cleveland, obviously his mind was been made up since he opted out

Ok, name guys that put up 26 and 13 with no one around him? Can you? He is the best big man in the game, so there are no superstar that are big men?

If you don't want to call him a superstar, you can call him a dominating star.
