OK....I'll try to be more "transparent" moving forward.

I think if you look back on the overall conversation, you'll see it was an obvious tongue-n-cheek moment.

I knew you were being sarcastic, because like you said I read the comments between you and Nightcrawler before that.

The hardest part for me is just accepting the fact that this is probably not out year. Accepting that we are a .500 club. I'm hoping Holland and Soto help a little, and that it's not to late by then.

Yeah.....when you go into the season feeling realistically we can compete for the AL crown and WS, to see all this happening around us is pretty disheartening.

Let's look at the upside, we still - outside for sure - have a chance to make the PO, and we'll definitely have a better idea before seasons end on what we've got and can expect from guys like Sardinas, Lewis, Choice, Odor and hopefully Soto, Profar too.

It was more than a page back, so I feel no obligation to go back further than that to get some tongue in cheek comment, I went with the evidence that was readily apparent, that page and the page before, couldn't find anything

If you take offense to that, then so be it

Start on page 12....not far back and read the posts.

Nightcrawler had already punted the 3 game series and we, collectively, called his hand. DT and Grey got it for sure me thinks.

Page 12? I have a different setting obviously (to me), I only have 8 total pages in this thread and now obviously to everyone else

Everyone who was there - with the exception of nightcrawler - got it.

There's nothing here - or there - for me to be upset about. And this is page 15 on my listings for whatever that's worth.

this on Mr Gallo from Mr Law:

25. Joey Gallo | 3B | Texas Rangers (age 20)
Current level: High Class A (Myrtle Beach)
Preseason ranking: Unranked

Gallo moved up from low A to high A this year, leaving a few teammates behind to repeat the Sally League, and after drawing 48 walks and punching out 165 times for Hickory in 2013, Gallo has drawn 41 walks already and struck out 54 times for Myrtle Beach, with 18 homers to lead all of organized baseball -- even though Myrtle's not a great place to hit.

He's covering the plate better than he did last year, swinging and missing less at stuff in the zone, and laying off more pitches out of the zone, so while he's always going to be a high-strikeout guy, he doesn't look like he's going to be making annual attempts to topple Mark Reynolds' record once he reaches the majors.

Even if he strikes out 180-200 times a year, he's a very good bet to hit 40 homers and draw 80-100 walks, numbers that will play just fine even if he ends up at first base.

He has him ranked #25 now?

Well obviously I wasn't there, I went with was at hand, b/c as far as I could tell that was the extent of the conversation

Nothing was obvious about your comment being tongue in cheek without having to go a couple pages back in comments, to me that's not obvious, that's my only point

the 25 next to his name, now that's obvious

I meant is he ranked 25th overall or in our system? Why are you being a dick?

Nevermind though, I found I without having to be an insider.

So much for our playing well in day games lately. And there was a time we kicked the NL but not this year. Glad I missed the last 2 games.

I was just piggy backing the conversation about things being "obvious"

The injuries in Arlington have transferred to soccer. A Mexico player at Cowboys Stadium broke his tibia and can't play in the World Cup now.

:L Dear Lord... does it matter. He told you he was being sarcastic about it. At that point does it matter if it was obvious? It became obvious when he told you. Why draw this insignificant thing out so long?

Like our chances with Darvish on the Hill tomorrow but Roark might have something in store for the team that let him get away. Wish I could watch it but I just got to Boston for a business trip and I doubt it will be on here. Really going to miss the O's series was looking forward to seeing Nelly again and seeing how our fans react to him. Maybe I can find a stream somewhere or something. Can't justify buying the MLB thing for 6 days.

Guess I will just be checking on here and gamecast unless I find something.

I'm sure it will be warm and very appreciative, Dude. More than any other ex-Ranger save Michael Young. Also he will have very kind words for this team, I'm sure. He and Elvis will sure to kid around.

I hope so. He really did a lot for this team- more than I think he gets credit for. And he seems like a pretty good guy and great teammate too.

But I hope afterwards we go on and sweep him and the rest of those former Rangers on that team :).

We did a lot for him as well. He was in and out between the minor leagues and us for awhile. A late bloomer. We never gave up on him. Which makes our parting all the more sorrowful. The year he's having if he's still on this team? It's mind boggling. It's must be in the Baltimore waters how former Rangers just explode up there. First Davis, now Cruz.
