He's not on an island. He has Steph's support.
The guys make a good case for him to come back

Curry out supporting Jackson, here's a new article on ESPN
Thank God. He's a glorified motivational speaker, and WILL drag this team down with him the longer he says here.
Get rid of him ASAP. I almost want him gone as bad as Avi.
Since when is the only requirement to keep a head coach is being personable to his players? He's a player's coach. That doesn't make him a good coach, and I certainly don't expect any players to turn against him - so citing them as evidence as to why we should keep Jackson is worth nothing, really.
By all accounts he's fragmented the franchise. He has trouble communicating with the front office and is hellish to work for/with if you're an assistant coach. That's not a good formula at all. We can't worry about him wanting to replace his staff every year. Oh, and I'm not even gonna mention the basketball side - the stagnant offensive sets and porous, untimely substitutions.
Sorry, Curry and Thompson can write 50 articles about him, he's still gotta go at the first chance we can upgrade. Preferably tomorrow.
I think the Bogut injury saved his bacon. If they had been #fullsquad and lost this series maybe that's enough for Lacob to fire him and explain to Curry and the rest why. Without a healthy squad they still took it to LA and it would be that much harder to explain the firing.
I'm one who thinks he's fine to stay UNLESS you get a clear upgrade, not another unproven guy like Steve Kerr. Doc Rivers, Van Gundy, etc...maybe. But not a move just to make a move.
But it's not a move to just make a move. Apparently he has a problem working with people (management/staff). Unless you're an absolute genius of a coach, that's enough for you to go.
Apparently is the key word.
Until real evidence comes out that his "apparent" problem working with management is hurting the team going forward, I see no reason to let him go. He has the support of the team, 50+ wins, team played above its head in the 1st round...
I seriously don't understand your rage against the guy.
Its almost identical to the Singletary situation with the 49ers. Who is Avi?
Where's there's smoke there's usually fire - and there's a bunch of smoke coming out.
That said, if he gets fired, then we'll know for sure that his severances with the front office and coaching staff were real.
That's fair.
Just to play Devil's Advocate: what if Lacob is a rich, ego-driven asshole with unfair expectations?
If Jackson gets fired, I truly hope it's Jackson that is the problem and not the owner. Time will tell.
