Washington Redskins Draft Profiles: Kirby Van Der Kamp (PUNTER!) - Hogs Haven


I think it would be wise to draft a punter and if so this would be the guy and be set at this position for while round 6 or 7 round i would draft this guy what do you guys think?

I would hope they would land this kid.....I have seen him play for his college years, and the guy has a strong leg, and good at downing inside the 20...inside the 10.....he can hold for xtra points, and I have seen him on many occasions, run for and complete passes on suprise 4th and go for it plays....very good at it

No way you draft a punter! FA All American from the University of Idaho still out there. There are plenty of punters that can be had...

I disagree........he is a high quality Punter....those available, may be good, but he is better then your FA punters...a late round 6th or 7th pick...I have more confidence on this punter then a developement guy that could be selected......

I would go with a punter too, its the 7th round...this guy and the miami punter have gotten rave reviews.
Obviously you can find great undrafted guys too...but we do NEED to settle the punting issue.

who wouldnt spend a 6-7th round pick on a guy who could solve your punting woes for 12 years ?

seems to me like a good use of a pick
