GO PENS! Crosby still on the point streak (one back of Stankos), Fleury playing great and the PK kicking ass. (And I just jinxed all of them!) After that bullshit disallowed goal by Philly last night I expect Karma to punch Calgary in the nuts today. If not, Sid will, because he can get away with it.

On the title: I was all pumped to watch this game on Rogers Sportsnet West, seeing as how I live in Ottawa and don't get many Pens games, but the damn this is blacked out here. Couldn't figure out why, since there were no local games on. Called up Rogers and they explained that they only have local rights for the game, not national rights. I was pissed.

BUT - the rogers agent tried to hijack the conversation towards my cell phone plan, and before I could cut him off it came out that I had studied at McMaster. After a bit of chat, we realized that his sister and my girlfriend were in med school together, and that we had actually met at the graduation ceremony last spring. Small world, eh? Well guess who's now got two months of FREE TMN AND HBO! Woohoo! Can finally watch Dexter and the Caps / Pens special when it plays! Lovin' life right now.

You know... Letestu is 2nd on the team in face-off taken and has a winning %age of 51.4%... and he's right handed!! I don't really care that he hasn't scored a goal in 14 games now... he's still 9th on the Pens in scoring...

Flames turning the puck over a lot... Pens need to sustain this pressure and they will be rewarded... Flames are blocking alot of shots... and Kipper is playing solid.

Yep, it's not a good sign that kipper is stopping everything coming his way... It is a good sign that the Pens are generating good scoring chances against the rest of the Flames.

If this pace keeps up, the Flames will have nothing left in the tank come the 3rd period and Kipper should be exhausted as well...
