Be warned Scheppers had an even better 1st inning yesterday, 9 pitches

Wow I thought tanner had a higher pitch count than that in the first like 15 or something cause where his PC ended after the 2nd? he must have thrown over 30 plus in the 2nd which is possible cause I think he walked at least 4 in the 2nd

Wash called a hit and run. Whatever you do don't let that high powered lineup play for the big inning in the first. :L

8.0 earthquake off the coast of Chile. That's a biggie. They may issue a tsunami warning for Hawaii.

Saw that one coming, been a lot of 5's and higher in that region for the past month or so, usually an indication something big is going to happen

39 in the 2nd

Knew it was ugly, I tuned in late and missed the first inning and started watching a couple batters into the second

Ugh, and of the bat. Good inning. Keep working him like this and they'll get to him. Gotta let the hitters hit though, Wash.

I'm not ready worried about Tanner's results from yesterday, but I am a little concerned his fastball was no faster than it was.

His ball had a ton of movement though, which usually indicates he's late with his arm. This is especially true since he was missing high every time. If he gets better rhythm and hand speed (gets his hands and his lower half more in sync) the velo will go up. It will flatten a little, but he'll have better control and velo. Usually someone is late when they have a sore arm, or if they are nervous, the latter being the case.

Didn't see it, but it sounds like a case of over throwing.
