Still frustrated in Charger land. Our only strategy seems to be to go get below average backups.

1) 3rd string RB
2) 2nd string ILB
3) awful backup CB

We haven't signed 1 single player who should even play in a game for us.

Ben Tata signs a two-year deal with the Browns. Called that one months ago. Solid addition.

Add Roman Harper to the list of players who went to his former team rival team....Not sure if these guys are doing it out of spite or what

Or because they're just familiar with the division and the players in it. Much easier to adapt to that

Give em credit - the Browns are trying to make some moves. Too bad they will almost certainly fuck up and pick the wrong qb again, so it's all to no avail - but they're trying.

I like sanders. Him in Denver makes the depth we're building at corner even more vital.

I was half-hoping we took another shot at him this year and let Edelman walk.

Pats and Donks know they'll get their pants pulled down again by the top NFC teams unless they can boost their Ds. What Seattle did to the Donks in the SB was the football equivalent of a snuff flick.
They got to go all in right now because both their QBs only got a 1-2 year window left. Both will end up in cap hell eventually, but right now, it's all in time.

The big question is, can all these D players they're adding have instant chemistry. When the Donks play the Seahawks this year, lots of those questions will be answered.

Antonio Brown... Ever heard of him?

PIT drafted Marcus Wheaton in the 3rd round last year to fill Sanders' shoes. Trust me, Sanders is nothing special. Cotchery is a FA at the moment and the talks have been quiet about resigning him. I expect Cotchery to be back, and probably a newcomer from the draft.

Patriots won't be in Cap Hell. They've had some dead money, but next year they'll be clear and anything on the books will active players. Their cap problem this year is that they have to eat $7.5M that they're not paying to Aaron Hernandez and the NFL will not allow them to clear. This is nothing more than Roger Goodell's dislike of Belichick. He tends to forget that it was Bob Kraft who got him his job.

I'm not 100% sure if I'd call what's happening 'panic', but after the beat down the Broncos took in the Super Bowl, it would appear that Belichick knows that if he has to face Seattle in the Super Bowl next year, he does not want to be as embarassed as Denver. He also wants to be sure that the Patriots can do better than they did in the AFCCG this year.

Denver on the hand is going "All In". Talk about Cap Hell..........................
