Just home from the game. Enjoyed the "Suite Life" thanks to Davenlaguna. Thanks again for the tickets Dave. Kings got you a win for your birthday so it was a fine day. Even with the weather. I thought the Kings played a good solid game. Nothing fancy to try to put on a show for the home crowd. It isn't their game anyways. Glad to see them realize that.

Doughty didn't have a good day offensively but his defense was first rate. Several blocks and takeaways. Don't know if Martinez's power play slapper will keep him in the lineup or not but it should. He doesn't look like a liability on the defensive side to me so we'll have to see what happens once Greene is ready to go again.

Wasn't real happy with the quick Carolina goal after Richards' goal in the first but they fixed that in the 3rd period after they took the lead on the power play. Best period they played the entire game was that 3rd. On to the next one Monday night.

Wasn't real happy with the quick Carolina goal after Richards' goal in the first but they fixed that in the 3rd period after they took the lead on the power play.

I don't know what it is about this season's team but they have such an uncanny habit of giving up quick ones right after they score.

Went to a 2 year old's birthday party in HB with all the kids so missed most of the game but did watch some in between chasing the rug rats. Looked like a solid game overall.
