Exactly what we need. Two QBs who struggle to read defenses and have limited pocket skills. How ever we could use the extra draft pick. But all in all, seeing as how Cousins will only be here two more years, I would consider the trade.
I would rather a backup with a similar skill set. I'd consider the trade in a heart beat but it all depends on the pick. I'd rather the conditional 1st or 2nd the following season though.
^^^This. Straight up...probably not. The offensive game plan or playcalling probably would not have to be changed much in the event that Griffin goes down or just gets beat up a bit. From what I have seen of Pryor, he is just as viable a BU option as Cousins. Throw in a 3rd or 4th, then its a no brainer. I'm with gk though, I would rather have a higher draft pick or an additional conditional pick to fill a roster need with a potential starter..
i think you guys overvalue KC if you think a conditional number 1 or 2 is in play
If we cant fleece the raiders then we are in the bottom 10% of the nFL in terms of negotiation skills. Might need to fire whole FO

Would you pay two second round picks (essentially the second one is rated as a third because it's the following season) for a QB that comes in and leads your 4 or 5 win football team to the playoffs? Just answer that question.
Would pay a second and third (the third is really a fourth because it's the following season) for a starting QB? Now answer this one. Just give the answer...no justification.

For those who didn't answer the questions plainly...that is what a conditional pick is. If conditions are met, then you get an extra pick.
IF the Raiders were to make the playoffs, then we would get the conditional pick in addition to the 3rd or 2nd we get this season.
IF the Raiders were to not make the playoffs but KC started 8 games or more, then we would get an additional 4th or 3rd.
It's whatever the conditions are.
IF you answer honestly, then you wouldn't mind those conditions added if you are OAK because then you know the player was worth it.
