Bob Nicholson of hockey canada says that if some"thing" happens while the nhl players are there ... theyre pulling the plug and the NHL players are going home ... and no contingency plans in place for the hockey tournament (ie no replacement players from euro leagues or amateur players)

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak told an inquisitive Mr Putin – who spoke in a menacing whisper – that the much-delayed construction project had earlier been run by a company belonging to Mr Bilalov, 42.

"So it turns out that the vice president of the Olympic Committee is dragging out the construction. Well done! You are doing a good job," Mr Putin replied sarcastically.

There is a really good article on Sochi in the latest Vanity Fair.

taking the safety concerns out of the argument, if the NHLPA and NHL come to an agreement that they wont be going to future olympics (because i can see the players being convinced on this) good luck to the player who chooses to leave his NHL team in season

that'll be a fun dressing room

Yes! "Dressing room", not "locker room". We put on our sweaters in the dressing room, not our jerseys in the locker room.

Not sure of the validity of the quotes, but some thoughts from some players.

I think the first Pic was a Defenceman's room. Forwards will get to know each other pretty well.

Now, now, now... let's not jump to conclusions. They may consider fluoride dangerous.

Or it could be gasoline. Yikes.

Whatever it is... judging by Stacy's picture it must be very high in calories :laugh3:

This might be the first Olympics where the athletes are glowing before competing...
