Actually that just shows the SEC has about three good teams any given year, not six or seven as the polls would lead you to believe.

Hmmm...if the SEC only has 3 good teams, then every other AQ conference must have 4-5, otherwise who the hell is in the top 25? Not saying that they have 6-7 top ten teams, but they probably have 5-7 top 25 teams.

Maybe, but the pre-season polls have a lot to do with their ranking, like I said before, when you start with 7 teams in the top 25 not many are going to fall out of it unless the wheels come completely off. But three in the top 5? Bama is top 5 for sure, Aub is lucky, and do you honestly think Mizzu would be top 5 if they were still in the B12, I know you probably wouldn't think so.

The SEC and ACC have 14 teams now. It is to be expected that 5 or 6 ranked teams should be acceptable. No different than 4 Big 12 teams or 5 Pac 12 or Big 10 teams.
