I think I'm going to have to take a break from this board for awhile.

Have fun guys. Go Rams

No kidding. The Clemens lovefest is a little ridiculous. They must have forgot that our run game is the reason behind our success.

The QB runs the show and he touches the ball first on every play from scrimmage. Make fun if you want Sam lovers but this ship turned around when Sam went down. All I did was post Clemens post game comments. Jeez!

No, the ship turned around when Stacy became the starting running back.

And no, you didn't just post his post-game, you said we found our starting QB, which is ridiculous. I'm hoping our starting QB is in the draft or it's Sam actually turning into a playoff caliber QB. We won't go anywhere with Clemens as QB.

I have a lot of respect for Clemens. He's gone about his business and done the best he could.

I don't see Clemens as the Rams' future at starting QB, but for now he's our guy and at least the Rams have a shot of winning with him behind Center.

I'm not a huge fan of Bradford and I believe he's always been grossly overpaid and hasn't lived up to expectations. I'm hoping the Rams' powers to be feel the same and will Draft a QB for next Season.

I've been quiet up until now....

To me, Its all about winning....

Pretty funny how all of these Bradford lovers give all credit to our run game. Its obvious that they don't understand football enough to realize that the battle is won in the trenches. Yah that's right, those holes that our rbs are going through were put there by our o-line.

Rambunctious posted Clemons presser, and in it, Clemons praises the o-line numerous times!! Its our o-line that's making our offense click, not just Zac Stacy alone. Our o-line coach has got these guys playing like they should be. Putting Saffold at guard was a brilliant move. Now we should think about signing him long term. Hell Stacy left the game before halftime and Cunningham came in and ran wild for 100+ yards. But no one wants to talk about the guys up front.

CLemons is not the long term answer, but at least he has enthusiasm. A LEADER should be someone that sets an example and everyone will follow. People tend to forget that we are now winning the time of possession battle keeping our defense off the field. They are playing great football. Its all about having a little enthusiasm and wanting to win, I don't see that when Sammy is in there, they have the "Ho Humm" attitude but the team as a whole is clicking when Clemons is in there. We are playing well on the road and at home.

Hmmmm... I wonder if it all boils down to Sam gigantic contract???

Actually the Bears had the ball for 36 minutes to our 24. It's not all Zac Stacy, Cunningham had a huge game, so evidently a lot of the praise has to go to the oline. But then again we have been doing this against some pretty beat up teams that are not playing very well.

I don't like Bradford, and Clemens is not the answer, but for now he is getting the job done, and that's all I ever wanted from Bradford, but he wasn't getting it
Done!

Actually the ship started turning around when they pounded the Texans and even moreso when Zack Staey started going off for 100+ yards a game. Hell they had 250+ rushing yards yesterday. If they can keep doing that they will win some mor games.

It did? They lost the game when he got hurt and they lost the next 2 after that when they should have won both of those games. Things have turned around the last few ganes because the running game has been great, the defense is playing better than it has all year and they haven't turned the ball over very often the last two games. Couple that with the fact that the really stupid penalties (especially on special teams) have lessened and it makes for winning football. The last two games the team has played as well as they have at anytine since 2003 amd I'm thrilled to death.

Funny how they turn their agenda into making it mine or those of who see the truth! Truth is fellas: this offense is clicking now without #8.

Period. Get over it. Stop the crying and wipe your VAJ

Like Cunningham who ran the ball like Stacey? Like Quick and Cook making plays, catching balls? The offense seems to be in sycn with Clemens. If they keep winning with him, it is what is it. We can evaluate it after the season. Still many games to go.

But it's pretty obvious for those who don't have Bradford love that this offense is responding to Clemens and hasn't been anywhere near this since Bradford took the reigns. Throw every excuse in the book at it.

I expect it and I'm used to it.

But dam, we are ballin right now! And some of you just can't stand it. It's crazy.

Fanboys will be fanboys.

We are evaluating Bradford based on his talent level. He'd be winning these games just as easily, and he'd put us in a better position when we didn't dominate the other teams beat up defense like we did last week and actually had to rely on the passing game.

Our running game in the last 4 weeks is TRIPLE the output of it in the first 6. Triple. Part of that is our line coming together, part of that is a change in our offensive formation to feature the run (because we can't feature the pass), part of it is a change at the RB position, and part of it is the fact that the Ds we've played have been poor against the run. The Bears were 31st in the league when we played them, they are dead last now. The Colts are 27th. Both good teams that were far worse than their record indicated because they took some pretty impressive losses in the injury department.

So go Rams, etc etc, but I'd be shocked if we ever won a playoff game with Kellens, let alone sniffed the Super Bowl. Bradford is capable of the former for sure, and with the right supporting cast could do the later. He's not Elway or Montana - but he could be Sims or Theisman.

HAHAHA!! Bradford's talent level? What's that exactly? Please explain for those of us that don't understand football! And I love the assuption. It's automatic that Bradford would win those games, because he's ALWAYS been so solid! He's been a solid leader with tons of confidence! You just plug Bradford right back in and the team is even better! BWAHAHAHA! Does your bottle of lotion have Sam's face on it?

Let's see if Clemens does better than Bradford did against the 49ers.

Clemens is the starting QB for the rest of the season, bar injury.

After that, he's a guy they are looking to replace. He'd need to do far, far more than he has to bring his name into that competition.

Glad to see a gutsy QB that's hitting deep throws when the defense cheats up against the run.

HATE the fact we have a guy that can barely complete half of his passes, even with an amazing running game backing him up.

We won't always be able to run like this, and when we don't, we'll lose.

Old timers, you remember Pat Haden? Dieter Brock? Even with pro bowl players all around them, when they met another team with that capability they couldn't get the job done. Good guys, tried really hard, smart and competitive - just didn't have the physical capability.

Everyone loves an underdog, and if Clemens upped his game to the level he could be a real threat to the starting job that would be fantastic.

But 52% isn't it, and it will show as soon as we play a team that can stop the running game. If he manages to get his completion % up and convert 3rd downs against the Niners, I'd be ecstatic.

But to this point, he hasn't shown that ability. His TEAM is kicking ass. He's playing OK, but his limitations are apparent.

He's not great. No doubt about it. But the defense is not on the field the whole game, the offense is moving the ball and Clemens is making some plays downfield.

You can talk all you want about his stats. We scored 40+ on sunday and he was running the offense.

You say Bradford would be winning these games just as easily, yet he LOST games with the same talent THIS YEAR. That is really all that needs to be said.
Clemens is not the QB of the future...he is the QB of RIGHT FREAKING NOW. And right now, we are clicking. I still think either Bradford at 9-10 million per season or a rookie will be the starter week 1 next season. But it is nice to know what we actually have in a vet like Clemens. You think the Packers wouldn't want Clemens right now?? How about Houston??

And he only contributed 1 TD to that effort yesterday. The big gains in the running game is behind our success on offense. Period. I get that you and others need to promote an anti-Bradford agenda to fit your warped reality. But no one with half a brain thinks this success is because Clemens is at QB.

We'll see how well this team plays when going up against SF, NO, AZ and SEA down the stretch. Hopefully the W's keep coming. That would mean we're a QB away from seriously contending.

If we would have run the ball more effectively with Bradford at the helm, we'd be in a lot better position than we are in now. No team can have a successful running game with Richardson as the starting RB.
