tell your boys to ship some to the 508 area code!

When my friend's dad visits from Colorado, he'll mail (regular-ass mail) a couple pounds out here to keep himself stocked since he can't take it on the plane. We have dispensaries on every corner & in every strip mall, not sure why he goes through the trouble.

And I probably pay half of that half.

:yahoo:

I can't honestly remember the last time I paid for it. People literally give it to me, without prompting. I remember waking up from a night out, looking in my purse and finding a Marlboro box with 3 j's in it. Or nugs in my pockets.

even tho Farrell won 28 more wins than last year....:noidea:

but i'm not complaining. it's about time francona got recognition. he didn't win this in boston.

How often do I have to repeat this?

Farrell replaced the WORST Red Sox manager since Don Zimmer in the '70s. Anyone can look good in a situation like that! Francona didn't have the talent to work with that Farrell did.

then why did 99 percent of baseball experts pick the Sox to finish fourth or fifth in that division if he had "all that talent"

cant have it both ways as it appears some of the voters did

Are you counting Butch Hobson, or, just forgetting him? I ask, as his record says he has been the worst in the last 40 years.

If better has anything to do with baseball knowledge, then, no. Not hardly. But, if better is more entertaining, due to them spending so much time making others or themselves look stupid, then, you may be running with the wrong crowd.

Congrats to Francona and Hurdle.

Though I thought Farrell should have won, I have no complaints with the award going to the classy Francona. It was well deserved.

My question to CaptO is this: what do the Indians do at closer and SP? Do they slot Cody Allen as closer or overpay for a guy like Balfour, Rodney, or Benoit? Is Pestano done? it looked like he was the closer in waiting until he got hurt.

Will they get a veteran starter to go with Masterson, Salazar, McAllister, Kluber, and Bauer? Will they even have the money if they extend Masterson?

Will they finally trade Asdrubal?

Looks like Hal Steinbrenner is already backpeddling on the $ 189 mil payroll. I am surprised it took this long.

Did you honestly think he was going to stick with that?

Did you overlook my frequent mentions of Bobby Valentine's incompetence?

As a Red Sox fan I would love seeing that idiot managing the Sinstripes!

The so-called baseball "experts" usually know more about PR than baseball, so I could care less what they say.
