The article I read indicated the weed was Bowe's. It was found in a bag that contained Bowe's wallet and the weed, I read nothing that said it was the passengers.

Just because you don't agree with a law doesn't give you permission to break it. He knows it is illegal in Missouri and even beyond that it is illegal in the eyes of the NFL (kind of eliminates your redneck point). Throw in the level of pot in the vehicle would be illegal anywhere in the country (again eliminates your redneck point).

It doesn't matter whether it is a serious crime or not in your mind. It is illegal and everyone knows it is illegal. So the fact that Bowe is in a car knowing there is pot in the vehicle, speeding through town, and being in a known area where cops patrol the area pretty hard is just asking to get caught. Being stupid is not illegal but doing something illegal and being stupid is a very quick way to get caught and arrested.
