NOTE: L. McCoy is a 4th round keeper from three years ago, and D-Jax is a potential 6th round keeper from this season.

Team #1 Gives: Jamal Charles, D-Jax, D-Will, Andre Brown, B. Bolden, M. Crabtree, N. Burleson

Team #2 Gives: L. McCoy, V. Cruz, Pierre Thomas, M. Jones, E. Royal

Team #3 Gives: Chris Johnson and Anquan Boldin

Team #1 Receives: L. McCoy, Chris Johnson, P. Thomas, M. Jones

Team #2 Receives: Jamal Charles, D-Jax, A. Boldin, Andre Brown, B. Bolden

Team #3 Receives: D-Will, V. Cruz, M. Crabtree, N. Burleson, E. Royal

I won't post all three rosters, but team #1 wanted RB2 and RB3 upgrades. Team #2 wanted the #1 FF RB, and WR upgrades. Team #3 had almost no WR's and wanted depth and one elite WR out of the deal.

initial thoughts - team 1 should have stayed out of this deal and let 2 and 3 mix and match.

Team 2 comes out of this stronger, imo, than team 1 or 3.

Agreed.

Team #2 was the toughest one to negotiate with. It was kind of one of those things where the three of us had worked on the deal on and off all day. At the end when he was asking to not have to give up certain players, I just was sick of arguing it. He outlasted me. I'm team #1, and I'm 3-5 with two straight losses. I just really felt like I had to make something happen.

I know I gave up too much, but at the worst, I picked up a great keeper in McCoy in the 4th round for next season.

Thanks for the response, BTW.

that is a very hefty price for a 4th round keeper... I wouldn't have been involved in this deal as team 1.

I mean, Charles to McCoy isn't much of a downgrade, and then when you consider McCoy's value as a 4th round keeper. It's pretty even. I had ZERO startable RB's aside from Charles and D-Will (with Stewart back in CAR, is D-Will even anything outside of an okay flex play?). McCoy, CJ2K, and PT are an upgrade. IMO, D-Jax is going to see his production drop a bit, and Crabtree isn't going to see much success during the fantasy season. I need to win now. I'm playing it week to week.

My RB's are definitely improved, and I have the WR depth to pull off what I did.

Wow and unreal.

Hats off to Team 2 - who is giving up 1 starter for 3 starters, with no downgrade at any position.

Someone seriously explain to me why this is so awful?

I clearly upgraded a bad RB group, and gave up D-Jax to do so? Like I said, I'm deep at WR. WR's are a dime-a-dozen.

McCoy is a 4th round keeper. I don't see where it's bad at all. Yeah, the owner of team #2 is a stubborn prick and wasn't willing to deal anyone. So he made out best, but geez.

So, out of Victor Cruz and LeSean McCoy... which one isn't a starter?

I think Charles+Djax vs McCoy+Cruz is a wash. Getting Andre Brown and Boldin made me pick team 2 as the winner. just my .02

I agree that team two made out best, but I just don't think team 1 (myself) made out poorly.

Also, I think Andre Brown and PT are a wash. No? I got PT in exchange for Andre Brown. So pretty much, the difference is Boldin. Which isn't huge.

Not counting Cruz as a starter is probably a little unfair - though I do think he is overrated. He has done very little in 5 of his last 6 games, a few points here and there. (He would have been my 3rd/4th best WR).

I would take Charles and DJax over McCoy and Cruz. In my league, Charles is ahead of McCoy, and DJax is ahead of Cruz. Granted, not by a huge margin.

Yeah, but I had no RB's after Charles, and I got Chris Johnson and Pierre Thomas. CJ has a really easy second half schedule and PT is emerging as the main back in NO. So I really think I did fine.

CJ does have a great schedule but he's been underwhelming so far, and now may have some touches stolen from him by Greene. Frenchie looks like the best of the bunch, but he's been up and down as well. They both may turn out to be great pickups, but right now they still have a bit of crapshoot to them, IMO. Gotta admit I love CJ's schedule, though.

Pierre thomas is the number 2 RB on a passing first team... andre Brown is in the position to be the number one when he comes back... and the Giants have been running the ball much more often the past few weeks... Brown has the potential to be an elite RB2 while thomas is at best a flex...

and when crabtree comes back he can be a fantasy WR2... you gave up all your potential for 2 downgrades to what you originaly had...

I'd rather Andre Brown than Chris Johnson. That's what I think of CJ?K, and his "easy" schedule. I don't mind Thomas, but he is also unpredictable, because the Saints aren't just gonna run Sproles out of town, (unless Sproles is injured), I see inconsistency ahead there. I agree you're probably better off getting rid of D-Will though.

I don't think you lost out huge or anything, just saying the value of McCoy in the 4th wouldn't have swayed me. I think his value takes a slight hit (ROS) without the Vick running factor. And as for value, I'm assuming Crabtree could be a sneaky late round keeper?

Says the Giants fan.

Just saying, that Giants backfield is as unclear, if not a bigger mess than New Orleans.

Who is PT second to? Would it be Darren Sproles? Who didn't have a single carry or gain a single yard in their last game, while PT has 15 carries?
