it's tough to argue when you find whatever meaning you'd like and then try and debate something that was never said. He's an average qb. Period. Someone tried to imply that he's not because of him making it to the playoffs so often. Many average qb's make the playoffs on the backs of a great running back, WR making every clutch catch he can and defenses that are adequate, let alone one that has been regarded as one of the best groups of defensive players in NFL history.

The vikings went to the playoffs with Christian Ponder for crying out loud. They had no WR's, decent Oline and pretty good defense and one great RB.

As long as the Ravens keep a good defense and RB around Flacco, I'm sure they will win some. But as we can see, take away an elite defense, and a go to WR, though one could argue the Ravens do have WR's to fill the void, we can already see how much he struggles even with one of the better RB's in the league and a pretty good defense. But like I said, continue to pay him and think he's worth it.

Good lord. Ramble much?

The Ravens defense is playing well this year so the defense isn't the reason for the lack of success for the ravens this year....I already told you the two reasons why the ravens are struggling this morning but like a typical jackass you won't listen and keep making up shit.

So, he has a good defense, still has at least one very good WR, one of the leagues best at RB but an offensive line that isn't up to par? Got it, again you prove my point. He isn't good enough to overcome it. He's average at best, he's been carried to the playoffs by having some of the best olines, RB's wr's and defenses you could surround a qb with. Good for him, he didn't fuck it up. Be happy paying him all that money.

i tend to when trying to spell things out to someone that is making my point for me and doesn't even realize it. It's a flaw of mine.

if that's what you think, but I think you'd find yourself rather lonely in that thinking.

both started playing QB at the same time both have one SB win but one has more regular season and post season wins. You're right Flacco is better.

if you think Ray Rice is playing as the one of the best RB ins the game right now you need to have your head checked.

Yep...he was also carried by the best ever equipment manager and best ever cheerleading squad. Everything about the Ravens is the best ever (except average Joe).

BTW...Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce are both averaging 2.8 ypc which is last and next to last of the 48 RBs that qualify to be ranked.

i'm sure his average is poor this year. It happens when you have a QB that doesn't scare anybody. If you're trying to say Ray Rice isn't one of the leagues best you need to have your head checked. I'd have traded every RB on our team at the beginning of the year for a RB of Ray Rice's caliber. To deny he's been anything but an exceptionally talented RB is again, disingenuous.

But beyond this year, in years previous, he has ranked near the top and ask most analysts or scouts and I'm sure a RB of Rice's skill set is a player they'd love to have on their team. Like I said, he's one of the parts that carried that blind squirrel you call your QB to find his "nuts"

I"m sure not even you think that. I'd have gladly traded our Oline, Defense and running game for the one's Flacco had the luxury of playing with the past few years. I have a good feeling GB would have at least 1 super bowl in that time and Baltimore would be looking for it's QB of the future. But keep making my point for me.

oh so how good the QB is determines how good the running game is....well that explain why the packer running game has sucked.

The QB is suppose to make the running game, o-line and defense better, you already tell me that

like I said, in the past, I'd have gladly traded every single RB on our team for Rice and your oline. and yes, QB play is a part. BUt teams would stack the box against Rice, they'd drop 8 DB's against Rodgers. Kind of tells you something.

Yea tells me Rodger can't win a SB, and needs a running game, a good o-line and a good defense. Well now that we have figured out Rodgers and Flacco need the same thing to win a SB can we stop this madness?

Flacco is NOT worth that kind of money. I don't care how many "close" losses you have.

They way over paid Flacco as everyone knows but that's the gamble the Ravens FO took when they didn't extend him a contract last year.

Without Ray Rice putting up steady chunks of yards, Joe has to carry more of the load.

It's a whole different ball game without a running game and great defense to fall back on.
