I gave you 4 different links to sites saying he is immensely talented. Just because he is sitting behind the NFLs leading rusher doesnt mean he isnt talented. All I remember in his two starts is he ram for 165+ and 175+ yards. So you are wrong again.

Back to topic..... I don't want to see an 8-8 team in the playoffs... not even if it's the Cowboys. Damn sure don't want to see an under .500 team in the playoffs. This aint baseball.

I think 9 wins gives you a shot.... I think without question 10 will win you the division.

Who wins? we got 4 teams with no secondary showing up to play.
Giants keep pressing Eli like he is Brady Brees or Peyton...... He's a Qb that has lived behind running game and defense. He's not those type of QBs....... I think the Giants are done.

Also think the Eagles are done. Not going by their record ... Just watching them play. and Vick is made of glass. Him not being able to run ..... takes away a threat that makes as must potential of say Detroit not having Johnson in the game.

I thought if they woulda stuck with Foles .... maybe.... You have to let young guys struggle to see who they are... and I think the Eagles fucked his confidence last year.
He played good Sunday ... but this week will be DCs studying up on him. I dont see a repeat coming.

As I said all our defenses were bad ... I think ALL of Philly's defense is bad. Hell you look at Denver throwing up 51 on us .... They threw up more than that on Philly and sat Peyton in the 4th .... That says alot right there ... considering Denver Philly was a shut out ... while Denver Dallas was a shoot out .

I agree with all your points, except that the Eagles are done. Their schedule favors them and their division wins still keep them very viable contenders. Now if the offense looks completely inept against the Bucs with Foles, that's a different story.

SoCal, totally agree about the skins. If we don't show up, the rest of the season is going to be more about auditioning next seasons team then contending for anything in the division except for moral victories.

Here's some cogent football analysis for you:

Any team that has a qb that can throw for 500 yds is a force to be reckoned with. The Broncos may not have much of a pass rush, but Romo carved them up like it was nothing, and I shudder to think of what he can do to the redskins secondary, especially since Haslett is "coaching" them.

The way to beat the cowboys is to pressure Romo (which hopefully the redskins can do, with a full compliment of pass rushers for the first time this season), take away Dez and Witten, control the clock, run the read option, use the cowboys speed against them.

The cowboys have more talent on defense than the redskins do, and both the redskins and cowboys have more talent overall than the eagles do. What the eagles have going for them is the best rb in the division, an above average offensive line, and the ability to surprise teams with new schemes.

Probably nine wins is what it is going to take to win the division, and once there, wether you win seven, eight, or nine wins, you have a shot at the big dance.

If the skins were coached right these past two weeks, they SHOULD get their shit together before the cowboys do. We'll see...

Anyway, back to actually discussing football instead of crying,

For the redskins to win the NFC east, the online has to run and pass block much more effectively than they have I the past, the defense has to get consistent pressure on the opposing qb, and the secondary needs to play passable, if not good, coverage.

With better blocking, the read option and play action attack would be more consistent, and Alfred Morris could have another good year.
With more consistent pressure, opposing qb's wouldn't be able to target hall or fletcher vs the tight end.
With better coverage, the secondary would make the qb hold the ball for a half second or so longer than they have right now, which might be enough time to let the pass rushers get to the qb.

Could all of that happen? Probably not this year.

Now we are heading into week 6 and Im waiting for you to tell me who the 2nd ranked offense is. So you didnt correct me one iota. YOu are hiding from the fact that, not only are you a troll, but were also COMPLETELY wrong.

Denver ran back a kick and a punt in the thrashing of the Eagles Twist. So we gave up 38 points on D and scored 20 after settling for FGs. Dont get me wrong... they smashed us though. THey also probably would have scored two TDs if we stopped those returns anyway. Peyton had target practice that day. Looking forward to Sunday night. Big game for the Skins cause they could fall to 1-4 with Chicago, Denver next.
