Ok guys, this year in my 12 team keeper (we have to keep 1 with option to keep 2) I will be keeping Arian Foster (I actually picked him off the wire his rookie season and drafted him in the 5th his breakout year) and Doug Martin (those clowns let me get this guy as the 8th pick of the 4th round last year). So anyway, my question is: What's an Arian Foster worth? Look, I'm not dumb enough to throw him back in the pot as no way I would upgrade but what players out there would you want to pair up with Martin for the next 3-4 years and still get value? Basically, if you were me what trades would you be looking to make? Like say Foster and my 10th rounder for TRich and his 4th (hypothitical as that does seem kinda steep)..............keep in mind, I do have Foster ranked as my #2 right behind AP (I have to say with Foster's goal line prowess I do say he belongs right where I have him).

So let's hear it. What would you do? Trade or stand pat?

Yes O' Will of White you did get him last year. In the 4th round (cheaper in the Sucide League if I remember correctly). Cheap...........but we drafted before he was named the official bell cow starter and IMO that did make a difference............so anyway, what is an Arian Foster worth on today's market?

BTW, I do have to give you credit as to obviously you took a bigger gamble than I did!

Seventh in the suicide league, fifth in MBBRL... (didn't win me anything though)

There really is no answer here Sam. Anyone is worth anything, for the right trading partner. You're gonna have to gauge interest through the league. If I was the Richardson owner, I wouldn't be losing 6 rounds to make the switch, if that helps... I have Foster at 2 as well, but it's a very scary 2, and the only reason he's there is (like you said) goal line prowess, otherwise his durability would scare me to drop him a little. His double digit TD probability is loud though...

I'd definitely look to trade him sooner rather than later. His YPA has been falling for 3 years now, and his targets/receptions have plummeted. That said, and this is coming from a Browns fan, I am not a fan of TRich in a dynasty league. I truly hope I'm wrong, but I don't see him being able to overcome his injury issues, which seem to be constant. I think some guys to target for this year would be -

Lamar Miller - It seems like I'm higher on him than some, but I think he's not only gonna be a stud this year, but also for several years. I think he could seriously have a Doug Martin 2012-esque season in 2013.

Montee Ball - I don't buy for a second that Ronnie Hillman is going to be the first stringer in Denver. He'll be in the mix, but Ball will start. He has a lot of talent and is a great candidate for ROY, especially in that offense.

Bryce Brown - I love this guy, perhaps even more than McCoy. He is just as fast and considerably bigger. While McCoy is still young, his YPA has also dropped each of the last 3 years. Brown is incredibly talented and, TBH, I think could be a solid RB3/flex in certain weeks this year.

You should also look to stash some guys late in the draft -

Marcus Lattimore - You can likely pick this guy up late in your draft to stash. I know I harp on guys like Foster and TRich for injury issues, but it sounds like Lattimore is not only getting close to fully healthy, he's also gonna be used sparingly this season as Gore remains the starter, but is not getting younger.

Knile Davis - It doesn't look like Charles' recent injury is anything terrible, but he has had injury concerns before. So has Davis, but it also sounds like he's firmly established himself as the #2 in KC, and he could even be used in some goal line situations this year given his size (6', 228). He's a definite handcuff to have this season, IMO.

Sam..all I got for ya is that I think your in the right mind in considering dealing Foster..but I got nothing for ya. If I own him, im asking too much becuase I want previous valua..if I'm trading for him, I'm not paying much at all as I feel he is a risk this season. Gonna be real hard to find balance, and it will all come down to what his temperature is in you league.

I say shoot for the stars, then let someone who is weak at RB and wants Foster to talk you into a deal.

Just getting word out there that you are looking to deal Foster should generate some interest. I'd see what you could get on the WR end for this year, and a draft pick to nail a potential keeper for the future. May be able to get more value that way.

Thanks for the responses and yeah, I get it being kind of a tough question so maybe I'll shop him around. I could probably get a guy like Lynch for him and a pick but Lynch isn't getting any younger either........so I'll probably end up keeping him and try to draft his replacement this year.........a positive for Foster is he isn't a fuck up like a lot of these guys and when I see him run he always runs hard and never wants to come out of the game. Maybe he will find more in the tank than we (myself included) are giving him credit for.............guess we'll see.
