Sorry if I don't trust the motives of a company that sold the evidence to the highest bidder.

LOL, so you are taking the "conspiracy theory" approach? So someone doctored over 20 players sets of records, credit card transactions, hacked texts, phone calls and emails? So who did it? Is this a mass plot by Jerry Dipoto and Mike Scioscia to thin out the competition in both the AL and NL?

If you would like to pursue something fishy, then why don't you inquire how all of these players never had a positive test. That irks MLB more than anything.

I do. I may have a fringe opinion on this, but in this day and age home runs and high scores are more likely to drive attendance than anything, so I say just let anyone and everyone take whatever they want.
The summer of 98 agrees with your premise.

I don't trust the clinic nor do I trust the MLB.

I really don't buy all the player's outrage against using PEDs. To me it comes off as feigned outrage.

Really, feigned? What about the 30 something player struggling through sore knees gritting it out every day, producing and not using PEDs. I think those players are mighty angry.

“I have been notified by the Commissioner of Major League Baseball that I have been suspended for 50 games for violation of the Joint Drug Agreement,” Cruz said in a statement. “I have decided to accept this suspension and not exercise my rights under the Basic Agreement to appeal. From November, 2011 to January, 2012, I was seriously ill with a gastrointestinal infection, helicobacter pylori, which went undiagnosed for over a month. By the time I was properly diagnosed and treated, I had lost 40 pounds. Just weeks before I was to report to spring training in 2012, I was unsure whether I would be physically able to play. Faced with this situation, I made an error in judgment that I deeply regret, and I accept full responsibility for that error. I should have handled the situation differently, and my illness was no excuse. I am thankful for the unwavering support of my family, friends, and teammates during this difficult time. I look forward to regaining the trust and respect of the Rangers organization, my teammates, and the great Rangers’ fans, and I am grateful for the opportunity to rejoin the team for the playoffs.”

that's a crock of crap! go to a LEGITIMATE doctor, like the rest of the world, and say "oh, by the way, i'm a big leauger, so do you think you could prescribe me something that is in compliance with mlb drug testing?" if this is true, than he is an idiot! any responsible player wouldve made that clear with any physician before ingesting a foreign substance! hopefully J.D. laughs at the idea of cruz returning and cuts the cord on this trash

As excuses go, Nelson probably has the best one I've ever heard.

he wouldnt need an excuse if he just goes to a LEGITIMATE doctor when he's sick! screw his excuse, there's no EXCUSE for being irresponsible for what you put in your body when legal measures will suffice!

Cruz is saying the right things. My guess is JD and Nolan are going to say the right things as well... And that we'll never see Nelson Cruz in a Rangers' uniform again. And that includes the playoffs, if we get there.

They knew about this in January.

Agreed, they did and probably thought the suspensions would come down A LOT SOONER. At that time I don't think there was a power bat to be had. That is why we ended up with Berk and AJ.

I don't think you fully understand what he is saying. He took the steroids to gain back the weight after being cured from the stomach virus.
