The Suns own three 1st rounders in this draft. Their own, Minnesota's (top 13 protected), and Indiana's (lottery protected)

So we will for sure end up with a top 5 pick (our own), and Indiana's pick probably in the 24-30 range. Minnesota's looks like it's about 50/50 right now... if they make the playoffs or end up with the best record of teams that don't make the playoffs then we receive it. So lets hope they stay healthy and can land us a pick in the 14-16 range.

Basically it looks like we'll have a pick early in the 1st rd, in the middle of the 1st rd, and late in the 1st rd.

Top 15 prospects for 2014: Ranked by Chad Ford on Insider via ESPN.
1. SF-Andrew Wiggins
2. PF- Julius Randle
3. SF- Jabrari Parker
4. PG- Dante Exum
5. PG- Marcus Smart
6. PF- Aaron Gordon
7. PG- Andrew Harrison
8. C- Joel Embiid
9. SF- Dario Saric
10. SF/PF- Chris Walker
11. SG- Gary Harris
12. SF- Glenn Robinson III
13. C- Willie Cauley-Stein
14. SG- Mario Hezonja
15. PF- Montrezl Harrell

As you can see it's a deep class... and there's a bunch of guys that aren't even in the top 15 that I like quite a bit.

yeah, I actually like him... he could probably be a nice late first rounder in this draft. Due to how deep this draft is it will be tough for him to crack the top 15-20. Since I'm a UofA fan and I watch a lot of Pac-12 basketball I definitely know a lot about him.

Lottery protected. Not projected. Meaning if they make the lottery then they will obtain it. Which I HIGHLY doubt will happen. We'll end up with their late first rounder.

If we get a top three pick, it should bring us a cornerstone player for the franchise! I really want to tank and get wiggins but would absolutely settle for Parker or randle.

We could easily walk out of the first round with two guys that can make an immediate impact! Lets go timberwolves!
