It is odd they would do that, seems to me their demographic isn't facebook users. I guess they assume everybody has a FB page.

I think its the opposite, they are probably using FB all day. They just come on the boards and act a certain way.

Goldenspur. If it is 25, I stand corrected. Personally I like the probationary posts number and I think it should not be totally abolished. Just my opinion and Hammer will have the final say.

Yea I just came from ESPN the NFL mods are terrible. They delete everything.

trolling is only off limits on the team boards they are reserved for the fans of a particular team to talk about their team ... the general discussion is open to everything

It was a combination of things people on ESPN were ultra sensitive as well you can say something completely factual like Patriots offense might take a hit because of the players that were lost, but if someone didnt like that you said that the post would be flagged automatically removed and get to many you were banned.


Honestly if this place gets some traffic im more then happy to leave ESPN even though I had been posting there since high school.

Trolling is useless I do enjoy a healthy discussion though.

That's just not true. I was banned one time for flagging one person too much. He was completely out of line but if I had said so I probably would've been banned anyway. I know this because I called ESPN and was told so. I'm talking like 5 flags in a 5 minute window. They have become ultra sensitive over there and I'm one that never flagged people, so I didn't know.

I think he is referring to here not on ESPN. You are correct what was worst is if you posted in to many Threads that were deleted they would auto ban you. So even if you did nothing wrong because of butt hurt teenagers because you dont like their favorite teams you would be banned for a week.

I know, man. I remember going to the NFC west blog and on several different nights I was banned repeatedly for nothing. Apparently I rubbed some Seahawk fan the wrong way.
