I've read multiple accounts that that was indeed the pitch, and that it did not go over well. Kobe basically told Howard "remember last year? Expect more of the same offense you hated, with me taking all the shots, and you getting all the blame"

If its a sign and trade with the Lakers i would think another team or two would have to be in the mix. Lee wouldnt fit the system and has too many years left on his contract
