Nothing saying they can't play together. They might even try to go small with Jrue, Gordon, Evans with Anderson and Davis at 4 and 5. Playing up tempo with Anderson's spacing, they could probably score quite a bit for periods of time.

He also seemed excited that they traded for Jrue so he may have warmed up to them. All I'm saying is that it doesn't have to be a given that they trade Gordon because they may bring in Evans. Plus, Gordon might be a tough sell given that he hasn't been healthy for 2+ years

Its looking like Blatche is returning to the Nets on a 1 year 1.4 million deal which is a fucking bargain. If the Nets can lock up Korver than the bench will be one of the best in the league. Blatche was one of the best back up bigs last year and we keep Evans instead of Brooks so KG should be able to get a ton of rest. CJ Watson left to Indy which sucks don't really know the back up PG situation right now.

Collison would have to come on a minimum contract. He'll get more elsewhere. Remember the Nets are well over the salary cap.

Yeah backup PG may be their issue....They can always use Tyshawn Taylor who they drafted last year as their backup but I'm assuming they want a proving dude.

Yea Tyshawn Taylor wasn't that good last year but he barely got any playing time. Didn't really see him except in blowouts. If they can get Korver, which seems like a done deal, then they won't get anything more than a vets minimum at PG.

The Thunder (in their pressing need to spend money on Serge Ibaka) traded James Harden for:
1. Jeremy Lamb
2. Steven Adams
3. Dallas' 2014 pick (only if outside the top 20) - essentially worthless
4. Dallas' 2014 2nd round pick

I hope building the franchise around Serge Ibaka was worth it.

I understand they wanted to avoid luxury tax hits in 2014, but I have no idea why they didn't take another shot at it in 2013 first.

Now, Jay-Z is going to be whispering in Kevin Durant's ears about going to a marquee city. This will only make the pitch easier for Jay-Z.

Sadly enough, their franchise fortunes depend on the decisions on B-level player Kevin Martin.
