LeBron threw his elbows in such a way that it is obvious to me that he was trying to at least break Hibbert's nose. The fact that Hibbert got back up and was able to continue after a shot like that means he is a MOUNTAIN of a man.

I hope he puts lil LeBron the wussy on the floor flat on his back the next time he tries to drive the lane. Let's see how it feels when somebody hits him with intent to break a nose.

i've always said this. there's no denying that he's one of the best players of the era(that "all-time" argument is BULLSHIT until proven otherwise), but as a PERSON he's fragile and a complete self-serving bitch. hey, all the greats in this game had personality quirks imo, but this guy just comes off as sickening...

oh i'm not putting him in MJ's league. hell, imo he couldn't touch Wilt, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Dr. J or a whole lot of players i've seen watching this game, but i'd be lying if i said the guy couldn't play...

i was just saying that unlike a lot of the guys around here i'm definitely not ready to declare him "the best player on the planet" like most of his followers/dick tasters are around here...

He is a GREAT player with MAD skills but "the best player on the planet" is laughable at best.

Sure hope he gets steam rolled in G7 so he can learn a valuable lesson that will serve him well throughout the rest of his career. You just don't treat your opponent like shit like he did and expect respect. Not happening. I lost what little respect I had for him after I saw that blatant BS.

Could you see Larry Bird or MJ or anybody else with half the talent do something as completely uncalled for as that? I wouldn't be surprised if Ray Lewis did a double take when he saw what LeBron did.

Miami appears to be desparate to win - I don't think they expected anyone to be this tough to win and quite frankly I didn't expect it either. I am quite happy that Miami is having such a tough time and the best part is the players are starting to disintegrate and are beginning to fight - I love it

I tried to tell the Miami fans that a sweep or winning it in 5 wasn't going to happen. Most predicted 6 and I was laughed at when I told them Hibbert was going to be a big problem for them.

But the Heat players should know better. They played Indiana, what, 3 times in the season and lost 2 of them? Something like that.

yep. the Pacers took the season series from them. here's the thing i'm noticing as the series goes on. as TLF just alluded to, Miami has lost it's air of invincibility, and the Pacers i dare say are picking up a bit of swagger. Heat fans are thinking of/invoking "last year" as an indicator that the Pacers have no shot at beating them on their home floor...which is BULLSHIT. last year ain't THIS year. and with LeClown throwing his fellows under the bus i'm guessing it doesn't make for all that great a working environment down there in South Beach....

now do i think that this will STILL be one helluva tough game to win for the Pacers? sure i do. as much as i hate the Heat for all their shenanigans they are the defending champs and i expect them to fight for this game like wounded animals. but you'd have to be blind if you don't see the slightest crack in their composure. their mindset of thinking their "unbeatable" is gone. and i'm not saying the Pacers are the better team, but they just might be the HUNGRIER one. we'll see how it shakes out later...

The truth is that Indiana has just as many good players as the Heat do. If their fanbase can't handle that realization then they deserve to get beat and frustrated when they do lose 3 games to a team like the Pacers.

Something that bothers me a lot is that ALL of these players, even the ones on the worst teams, are the greatest BB players in the world or they wouldn't be there, and people just don't think about that fact.

Even the Magic, the worst team in the league, will grill you up and serve you for night tea and meat if you aren't on your game. As sorry as my team the Hawks are, I am surprised they even won enough games to get into the playoffs.
