Plenty of interested big men. Dalembert. Oden. Is Mozgov still interested? If they sign in for cheap...

Oden???...you're kidding right.

The guy is practically in a wheelchair

this seems like a flawed concept to me.

in the playoffs, every game is a game you "have to win."

this tells me they don't have a killer instinct if thats what it takes to bring the best out of them.

Really.. did you watch the 2012 playoffs? Game 6 of ECF? You don't have to win every game in the playoffs... no team ever has.

oh god, surely we can get a better list than that.

I think if they know we will be competing for the ring we can get some real and young talent...cheaply.

were saying all this stuff and screwing with this lineup.. why? because Indiana has played them tough in 3 out of 5 games? Let's say Miami goes on to win this series and beat the Spurs.

You have a 2 time defending NBA championship team.. 3 straight East Champs.. only our fan base would be suggesting trading key pieces of the team and messing with chemistry... all for what? because Roy hibbert played well for almost a week and half?

won't be able to afford to keep the team as is.

anyway, bosh doesn't seem to fit well. he's paid too much to be a role player, which is basically what he is. you can get guys much cheaper to basically give you nothing.

I am not surprised this series is going at least 6. After seeing the way the Heat played and the other outside circumstances it is easy to see how this could have been 4 games though.

i agree, that's the reality of the situation, but i guarantee that any team in the playoffs that has that mentality for a game is going to lose. competition is just too tough. i am pretty sure the heat would never admit to thinking that way.

Bosh has been a 3 time all-star for Miami. Guy is much more than a role player. he spreads the floor better than any PF in the league could for Miami. he opens up lanes for wade and LeBron.

Bosh gives us a lot more than nothing!!!

ok that was an exaggeration, but what was his line in game 5?

and do you deny that he is basically a glorified role player?

he was basically invisible tonight except for a few plays. he doesn't play inside and can't guard the 5, so you want a tall guy who can stretch the floor, hello luc longley, bill wennington, etc. would you pay those guys bosh money?

I can't totally agree with this. Bosh is underperforming because we are undersized. If any, we need more big men as role players and bosh play power forward.

i actually like bosh a lot, at least when he was in toronto. he is an awesome player i agree.

but now he plays with two black holes with the ball. he is a distant 3rd wheel.

youre just making things up now. wade and LeBron are both unselfish players. LeBron has been knocked for passing to much at times. pull the assist stats on either guy. even the biggest heat haters will admit that.

Lebron won the game in that 3rd quarter. Game 6 is going to be dicey. If you MADE me pick now, I'd say Indy forces a game 7 in a really close game 6. Should be interesting to see how the NBA handles the situation with Birdman

maybe you're right and maybe this just is a bad series for bosh re: matchups.

i just have never seen them run the offense through him.

like i said i think he is an amazing player whose entire skill set is not being utilized. and if you are not utilizing his entire skill set, why pay him as if you are. i am not making this up, i am not smart enough about basketball to be able to make this up, this is based on what i have heard nba analysts say. of course, they are probably full of shit too.

As for Bosh, when has he ever been anything other than he is now?

Good Jump shooter, doesn't really have a post game, and has problems with bigger guys in the post. He does fine in his role in Miami. Now whether or not they should trade him for a stretch four to avoid that cba is another question in itself
