If the Heat want to win this series, they need to first and foremost get the Big 3 involved and rolling from the opening tip. Forget about worrying about getting UD and Chalmers going. Forget about forcing 3's from Allen, Battier and whoever. That stuff will open itself up if the Big 3 become the focus of the defense. It baffles me why Bosh is so overlooked at the start of most games. If he's involved early, making shots, like vs the Bulls, it pulls Hibbard from under the basket and allows the Heats wing players to the get easier looks going to the rim and/or puts them in a much better position to rebound.

The Heat simply need to start playing their style of ball vs letting the Pacers dictate how the game is played, because if you play it their way, you lose most of all of the advantages that you have.

These guys are bigger than most average guys. Plus they are flying around at high speed and aggressively trying to get the upper hand. There are going to be some fouls that look more vicious than what the original intention was. You have to remember that most of them have the same nightmare of being injured permanently and unable to play again. They know how to take and give shots that may hurt but are not career ending.

i can agree with that thinking. hell, if I was a pro it'd be a huge concern for me because that'd be my bread and butter on the line pretty much all the time. still, imo it's usually pretty clear when someone crosses the line, so to speak...

What's so funny?

1) Heat in 5 is still possible.

2) Unless you have terrible reading comprehension, you can clearly see that my prediction was based on how the first 2 games in Miami go.

its very clear, you said, "IF". Do you really feel the momentum is in the Heat favor to win 3 straight?

I'm sure you're not willing to stake some cash on it? Relax, I don't bet money on sports events anyway. Just trying to help you realize that "the Heat in 5" aint gonna happen. They'll be lucky to get out of Indy with the series tied 2-2. It will be all uphill from here.

It is unlikely that it does happen but until they lose a 2nd game in this series, it is still possible.

Not at the moment but a win tonight changes everything. The Heat are a great road team and actually have a better record on road in these playoffs than they do at home.

And just from watching every minute of every Heat game this postseason, they have played better on the road for whatever reason

Their first game was essentially a preseason game because they had so much time off in between series's.

I actually don't think they came out rusty in game one of this series.

I don't think it has to do with being rusty.

Miami is unbeaten on the road in these playoffs.

Indiana is unbeaten at home in these playoffs.

Something's gotta give...
