One was first team all BIG 10 and the other was first team all PAC 10. even if you don't like them they're big name guys..

Wheaton and Jarvis Jones were steals where they were drafted

Big 10 RB. STOP. JUST STOP.

He's not my favorite pick, but he's a big name player..

the other two are going to be great players for them

Well, they are the Steelers. Their RB's will be mediocre. Jarvis Jones will get 4 sacks and 100 tackles. The other guy we'll never notice. they haven't improved at all. they've stayed the same...the same is still good, though.

So was Bacarri Rambo who was a much better player.

I like it. You guys want football players and not 'athletes'. Williams is it. The toughest dude on that defense. Strong leader. Not flashy but a solid player.

I doubt he ever starts a game.

Rambo is a MUCH better player. Williams was rated as a 5th 6th rounder.

Williams is also a natural fit at SS. Rambo is more of a ballhawking FS type. Nelson is entrenched as the FS for better or worse. At least Williams can actually tackle, unlike Crocker or any of the other clowns we trotted out last year.

Nelson can play SS. You don't take a 5th round prospect in the 3rd just because he can play SS.

I would have rather had Rambo too. Or Shamarko Thomas for that matter. But I don't think Williams is an awful pick.

The Margus Hunt pick however...WTF

The writing is on the wall that Dunlap and Johnson both won't be back next year and they want a replacement. I thought we might take a DE early, but I don't like Hunt. I hope he picks up this defense quick. He has the physical tools, but has only played football for 5 years and is 25 already.

I thought we might too, just not a dude who is a total project. Especially if he may have to step in and start next year. God knows our coaching staff wont know how to develop this guy. Hunt screams bust to me. I really liked Tank Carradine, but he was gone.

i would have prefered Damontre Moore. But as I said, Hunt has the tools, now we will see what Zimmer can do with him. The only bright side is that as long as Atkins is in the middle and Johnson and Dunlap 1 are on the other side, he will be 1-on-1 all game every game.

Just because he doesn't fit Mayock or whoevers projections doesnt mean he's a bad pick. He's tough. He's smart and he's a good athlete. I'm seeing a bernard pollard type. I think he'll be solid. A rich man's Chris Crocker.

So we got a player who can't cover to replace a player who can't cover, perfect logic. I think he will be an alright player but we need a playmaker and he doesn't really fit that.

Some really good RB's left. Randle is highly underrated. He made Vaccaro (whom I think is overrated) look terrible on a couple of occasions. Franklin I thought would go in the 2nd. Love Khasheem Greene. Wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Lattimore. Sean Porter is also a good player.

He can cover. He's not Ed Reed but I think he's a good player. Clearly Zim and Marv liked him better for their D than Rambo. Gotta be honest, I was talking up Lacy before but I was bummed when Jax took Cyprien. I wanted him at 2A than either Gio or Franklin at 2b. All in all pretty happy. Hunt is a project but at least we didn't take him #5 overall like Anzah.
