I would think with Philly having 3 7th round picks, Chip may take Barner here to add depth at RB and also be ready to step up in the future. Get him for cheap apparently.

Franklin > Lacy

Lacy has bust written all over him and a lot of NFL GMs must have agreed.

Hmmm, lets see Franklin was projected at 51 and dropped to 125, sounds like he had some detractors also. What will be the proof is on the field, where Lacey is better at proving his worth. You can have your opinion, but I have seen them both play and Lacey is by far the better back.

I don't think there are any "big time RBs" in this draft.

there has to be.

Taylor out of Stanford.

Barner out of Oregon

Aren't one of those LSU RBs in this draft?

Burkhead out of Nebraska

Austin out of WV (Who went 1st round)

Montee Ball out of Wisconsin

Bell out of Michigan State

Frankling out of UCLA
I am sure there are a few from the SEC.

Thanks, shocked that Franklin and Ball went so late...Montee Ball especially, considering he has the size to be an every down back.

Messing with Ironhead is a past time of mine. He and I dont see eye to eye on anything including his preference, he is in the closet and I am sure he is gay.

RBs have a short career span and Montee Ball had a ton of carries in college. That hurt his stock a little bit.

The knock on Ball has been that he has carried the ball so much an RB's have a short life in the NFL already. His knees were a concern to the NFL scouts and his amount of workload he was put under in college went against him. He is a steal at the place he went and will be a good back, how good is yet to be seen.

I guess it depends on your definition of "big time" but I wouldn't consider any of those guys "big time" or can't miss type prospects.

I think there are quite a few interesting options at WR in the later rounds such as Ryan Swope, Marquess Wilson and Da'Rick Rogers.

EDIT: Swope is gone

Evans to Jags! It's a Gator party all over Florida!

We've had a guy taken in every round so far. Hope we get someone in 7th too, just for the streak.

GL next yr, with all the good gators being drafted
