Didn't watch the first 5 minutes so I guess I missed the face mask. That ball was incomplete on the sidelines though. He dropped it. I've hated that rule for awhile now....but that is the rule and plenty of teams (including FSU multiple times I imagine) have been on the losing end of those calls. He should have maintained possession of the ball.

He didn't drop it. he left the field with control of the ball.

Why should anything matter after that? he gets stripped after both players are out of bounds?
