miller is /was the most consistent player we have... but he is hurt and I dont think he will be going

Heath Miller's right knee injury Sunday included a torn anterior cruciate ligament along with others that will require surgery and extensive offseason rehabilitation, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said today.

The tight end left the game against the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth quarter and afterward Tomlin said he sustained injuries to his posterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments. He has a torn MCL and may have a slight PCL tear as well, Tomlin said.

Halfback Baron Batch had surgery this morning to repair a broken arm.

Both players will go on injured reserve this week and two others will replace them on the 53-man roster for the team's final game next Sunday against the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field.

I knew Millers injury was bad,he's one of the few guys that played well all season

I'm pretty much disgusted with the whole team,if it was my team I would be tempted to do a full scale house cleaning,,,all players and coaches would be evaluated by an outside source and then I would trim the fat

I know we made the playoffs last year but that O-line is terrible there is no excuse for it

thats just it who ? .. this was the first year for hailey's offense so IDK you almost have to give it another year... up untill ben got hurt the line was doing fairly well,, our star receivers had a good case of the dropsies this year too and letting catchable passes go for fear of getting hurt.. its almost like they didnt even try to catch the ball at times ..

ya know if you would get another OC then the offense has to learn another new offense and then you have another wasted year .. so I would say then tomlin has to go or he has to quit being a players coach one of the 2.. I really dont think the players respect tomlin and they view him as a friend not the boss

I was not a Tomlin fan when they hired him,,,,,,damn I'm glad I don't pay the bills up there

but you know what too GG .. we have had a good run these past years and you cant have a winner every year thats impossible... we have come to expect that since the team shows up that we will win that doesn't happen either

well yeah I guess we are spoiled to a certain extent and losing is a hard pill to swallow when you aren't use to it,to top it off the game is always changing.

everyone is crying about concussions,I read a piece where the defensive players are lowering their point of impact down to the knee level you know what that means,a lot of knee injuries and shorter playing time ,,,,,,,,,,,,,one day this will be flag football or no football at all
