If left up to disney it'll be ND, the Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys also have a chance here too. Oregon would be my personal choice, they may hold a slight advantage, as noted already, with being the only team to play a CCG.

Get out of my head!!!!

LOL. Its just reality IMO. K State ( if they win out) will have the best resume of the 3 teams especially if they keep beating top 15-20 type teams by 38+ points all the time. Oregon will probably actually be the best team but their schedule wont allow them to make it IMO and ND will be in between the 2 when it comes to resume ( probably closer to KSU than Oregon) but the media should push them over the top.

If all of those teams win out, you know it's going to be Notre Dame. That's the game that will get the most $. That's what this shit show is all about.

How will Notre Dame pursuade the computers?

Will those that input data to the computers be bought off?

ND is tied with K-state at number #1 in the computers, it's the human voters holding us back.

I guess I tend to look at things differently.

I see it as the computers are holding Oregon back.

I expect Oregon will finally get tested in this final stretch and the humans will see that they are mortal. If they don't get tested than they deserve to be #2.

If anyone is to get human bias if it comes down to a close decision. ie...equal teams, it would be Snyder 1st (because he'll probably retire soon and has done a lot with more), or Notre Dame because it's just Notre Dame.

Why does everyone always forget the human element of the BCS....

i'm not ignoring the human element.

The human element legitimately has Oregon #2. The computer element is their enemy.

The human element will change on a dime if Oregon struggles.

Well my cynicism doesn't have to be justified ya know!

But doesn't the human system indirectly impact everyone through SOS? They overrate Notre Dame's schedule, IMO. The computer system's SOS ranking depends on the human vote as well. So while the human element may be holding Notre Dame back by directly voting Oregon, they could be propping Notre Dame up by giving Notre Dame's schedule too much strength.

Well, my thoughts are that we won't even be having this debate 4 weeks from now. Somebody's gon' lose, probably more than 1.

If Notre Dame is undefeated they will play Oklahoma in the National Championship game. I don't agree with it, but they are the media darlings of college football. They also guarantee a sell out of the stadium & big ratings for the network who has the Television rights.

I think the only team that might give Alabama a game is Oregon.

It will be close between Oregon and Kansas State..........Notre Dame has no chance to impress anyone for the rest of the season

The worse part about this poll is that it wouldn't even exist if the B1G didn't completely shit the bed this season! We beat #10 MSU at home, and #18 Michigan. Even PU was a trendy pick to win the B1G for a little...then of course Stanford had to lose to Washington after beating USC and USC just lost again..:L We scheduled tough teams...the #1, #4, #8, #13 and #21 preseason...they just decided this was the year they'd all be mediocre at once....

lol at thinking you deserve a shot because you meant to schedule tougher teams

that Michigan State win is worthless
