My frustrations with MY have grown just as high as anyone's around here, but you do have to admit that he's been better lately.

Having said that, the whole "Olt is too young to DH" is a pile of crap. I guess Trout is too young to play as well.

I'll blast his lineup choices for being flat out stupid. Like keeping a constant producer with blazing speed out of the lineup against a lefty so you can play MY. Or playing both your catchers in the lineup, one as a dh, and leaving yourself completely unprotected.

Wash says Olt will play in the field tonight. From T.R. Sullivan ...

"The skipper said he doesn't want to use Olt as a designated hitter at this point.

"He's too young to DH," Washington said.

Julio Borbon played his first ML game on 29 Jun 2009 ... @ DH. In that 2009 season Borbon started 4 games in CF, 16 games in LF, and 21 games as DH.

Borbon was 6 months younger than Olt when they each had their first appearance. Funny how the older Olt is too young to DH yet the younger Borbon wasn't.

Just doesn't compute ... why start your backup catcher at DH ... and sit Olt. Makes no sense ... and the explanation makes even less sense given history.

Wash will say whatever he thinks he can to justify his stupid decisions. The difference is people are calling him on it because he's been here long enough that we're able to point to his past statements and actions and see where he's full of shit.

I think it's pretty clear that Wash is the one thats clueless and uninformed

Has he even looked at Young vs Gentry's numbers?

The 88 games in which Gentry has played Rangers record is 57-31, thats 26 games over .500

Young? In 106 games its 61-45, meaning in all those extra games Young has been part of 4 extra wins, and 14 additional losses
