So far I like Sheppers over Lowe.

... course I like Tateyama over Lowe too.
Gentry came through, but that doesn't mean that it was the right thing to do to pench hit for the hottest hitter on the team. A broken clock is right twice a day.

I have rewound the 8th inning. I just had to watch it again
This is a win that felt like a loss, being shut out for nearly 8 innings. It just seems like this team is destined for 100 wins
Who did you want to see out there? Nathan wasn't available. Options were Kirkman, Scheppers, and Tateyama. Sheppers has 9 saves for Round Rock this year. Tateyama has 1. Kirkman has 0.

if u consider knee jerk common sense, then 90% of the posters are knee jerkers. and in case you missed my post, in a nutshell, again: murph could have easily struck out, point is, put your team in the best position to win. you might be feeling differently right now had cespedes not misplayed that ball.
aside from that, great win tonight!
You'd probably prefer my "special" cousin over Lowe. Seriously winding, you're a good knowledgable poster but when you set your crosshairs on somebody it's no mercy.
was adams not available tonight?
No... he's totally gassed. I think Nathan had more in the tank than Adams.
Adams is looking for someone to help him with setup ... and TEX may have found that guy in Scheppers tonight. Otherwise ... Adams so wants some relief he'd drive the van to RR to pickup Uehara when he's ready. Adams needs like 3 days off.
in that case, i would have gone with scheppers also
Yep. And now he's done it. Hate to say it ... because of his injury ... but am very glad Lowe was not available.
lowe has been more than solid the last couple of seasons and has the ability to be filthy especially for a middle relief type pitcher. scheppers still scares me a bit with his inexperience, but has all the tools to be a stud

Common sense is knowing that sometimes misplayed balls work both ways. It's about who makes the mistakes and who doesn't, but then my comment was in reference to complaining about a manager's move and then looking like a clown after it works and instead of manning up and saying I was wrong, you lay it off to, he got lucky.
Napoli looks lost at the plate. But one thing I am sure of: Sometime during the second half of the season the guy is going to go on an absolute tear. He's always gone like this. Plus, he wants a Molina type contract this offseason, so he will produce. He's frustrating to watch right now, but will be picking it up very soon.
You got an exact date? I getting kinda antsy.![]()
