To be honest, I don't think we'll see the Nelly of 2010 for an entire season again. The best we can hope for is his extended hot streaks like in last years ALCS. One thing about him is when he's hot he can carry any team on his back.

To be honest, I don't think we'll see the Nelly of 2010 for an entire season again. The best we can hope for is his extended hot streaks like in last years ALCS. One thing about him is when he's hot he can carry any team on his back.

I would be satisfied with Nellie hitting about 250 to 260 with about 25hr and 90 RbI. Like you said Romey he is a streaky hitter that hopefully gets hot in October

I remember back when he was playing SS and when Wash would have to have the infield playing in I"d cringe ... it was like a magnetized black hole in the middle of the diamond. Think that was what prompted TEX to promote Elvis.

Seems like that was a decade ago.
