Michael Dyer left Auburn and followed Malzahn to Arkansas State.

Also, we all know the answer to this question so do we really need a poll?

I missed that about Dryer and ESPN still has him at Auburn.

I don't think Montee Ball would have done better than Lattimore and/or Graham if they didn't get injured. I also think Russell Wilson's dual threat helped Ball.

Marcus Lattimore had more than 5 YPC exactly twice in 7 weeks. Montee Ball had at least 5 YPC in every game but one. To suggest that a healthy Lattimore would have been in the same league as Montee Ball is a tremendous insult. Ray Graham had 4 games without a TD. Montee Ball scored 2 TDs in every game until the Rose Bowl (when he only had 215 yards and 1 TD).

Again, nobody, based on the existing evidence, has a case to be in the same league as Montee, yet alone above him. This poll should have asked for second.

I should also add that Eddie Lacy is better than everybody besides Montee and Graham. He definitely belongs on this list

I think he would have been next. Other than Graham and Lattimore (who were leading in rushing yards when they got injured), I took the leading returning running backs on ESPN's stats in rushing yards. I closed the tab when I thought I had 9, but when I put it on the poll, I realized I had 8, so I decided to do a freshman or returning because I didn't want to look it up.

Thanks for showing Eddie some love. I really expect him to shock some folks this year, through 95 carries he averaged a tad over 7 yards per carry, and he had bad turf toe for half the year it seemed. The year before that he also averaged 7 yards per carry through 56 carries, so hopefully that will carry over now that he's at it full time.

Lattimore is coming off the knee injury - if he gets back to 100%, he's the best back in America.

^^Beat me to it. Crowell seemed a little bit soft at times last year, but I think he's going to have some guys to push him this year.

Might have seemed soft because he had atleast two injuries at all times. Also, he came in late and didn't get the S&C needed. According to reports that won't be an issue this year.
