Dude, it isn’t hard to understand.

Steroid testing started in 2003.

So they weren’t testing positive for steroids before then unless a specific player was targeted by the league for a steroid test.

Very simple.

You are very clearly wrong.
I did not realize baseball players never used steroids prior to 2003…good Lord

It only became more prevalent cause they started weight training as part of their spring training program in late 80’s which was the most negligent thing MLB could have done cause the players realized it was impossible to lift and go out on the field and perform.

As a SS how do you think I was able to move after lifting, make a play in the hole, throw across my body????? I would have ripped every muscle in my body. I was released a month later!

Enter steroids , selig should be jailed for lookin the other way

LOL.

You are hilarious dude.

Weight training negligent?

No. They just didn’t know how to do it correctly. They lifted to build muscle mass instead of functional strength like they do today.

Never said players didn’t do steroids. Obviously they did.

Players weren’t tested for it. That is factual.

Yes negligent

They put us in a gym, split us up into 2, no one was from org who truly knew how to train us , we were on our own, that’s negligence!

Dude, you said you’re to be in your 40’s

You were in diapers, yet you know for a fact what MLB was drug testing minor leaguers for…

Dam, you starmans kid?

Why oh why do you make it so easy to call you a dumbass? You gotta have reading comprehension issues.

That stupid response I pointed out of yours, read that comment you responded to again but slower.

Because nobody said MLBers weren't using steroids before 2003. What was actually said, if you knew how to read, is that steroid testing started in 2003.

You make a cinder block look smart.

Seriously man each day you just dig yourself into a deeper hole with your dumbfuckery. Maybe you should take a little break from beating yourself up.

Clearly you don’t.

I looked it up.

If you think I was in diapers in the 90s then you are terrible at math too.

Either that or you think I wore diapers in high school and college.

So then put context on it.

Weight training is not negligent.

Putting players on their own without any guidance from somebody who knows what they are doing is negligent.

Every major college and pro program has a strength coaches today. It is a different world.

I’ll play your game

Clearly it was inaugural year of adding weight training to spring training

They put out no list of what each position player should be doing too add strength

They had no professional trainers to guide us

We paired off in 2, we lifted heavy cause what the hell else we gonna do, we’re gonna show how strong we were

Left the gym after 45 minutes to go directly on too field for fielding and hitting…

We’re all pumped up from the weights

How long does it take muscles to build
back up after tearing them down?

I think you can figure out the rest

Of course.

That is terrible. Coaching malpractice.

They didn’t know any better back then.

Still has nothing to do with you calling Mark McGwire a liar when he said he was never tested for steroids.

lol, how is that coaching?

It was a direct order that came down from MLB front office.. DUDE THINK!!!

How do you now know there are clauses in contracts that states certain players will not be tested , during reg season etc

Cmon man you’re the analytical researcher, why do you think they always caught the minors leaguers in off season … different rules for different players.

Never changes

I’m callin him a liar now cause he should not be even discussing an f n thing, he cheated , he disappeared, he came back cause the fans still love him and now he’s talkin trash that they didn’t check for roids?????? DUDE, he fukin cheated! He would have never been what he was had he not! He could stay back on a breaking ball!
