Who would not return the stolen item when requested by the neighbor and property manager? What is wrong with this woman?

Why is Rice not being held accountable by the league?

They've adopted the stance it needs to go through courts first, and the courts haven't dealt with it and likely don't criminally until after the NFL season. Rice's lawyer is a Texas state legislator iirc which also mucks things up. It took forever for Kamara to be suspended as well.

This official was asked to hold up how many fingers as to how many games Rice would be suspended and.......

I forgot about the Kamara delay. I hadn’t realized that league policy shifted in this way.

Yeah, personally I'd rather Rice get his plea deal and settle his civil case and get this shit over with, but oh well.

I’m so fucking sick of these conspiracies about the NFL rigging things for and being biased for the Chiefs - I hoped that shit would die out when the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl and didn’t get their 3-peat, it’s so absurd to believe that BS, it’s impossible to rig games and the NFL would have nothing to gain from it and everything to lose by trying to do so.
The legal case hasn’t been decided yet, that’s why the NFL hasn’t decided on any discipline yet. Simple as that. Just give up the idiotic conspiracies about the NFL helping the Chiefs.

Imo the Chiefs dont really play a sexy brand of football anymore. Chief GM has done a fantastic job of adding depth through the draft but Kelce is old, Tyreek Hill is gone and the Chiefs have a good but not great defense. The reality is that last year the window the Bengals had closed up and their defense was trash, the Texans window isn't open yet because their oline was trash, and the Bills were an injury and a 50/50 call away from winning. It was a bit of a perfect storm for a Chiefs team to Forrest Gump their way to the Super Bowl.

Bo Nix 2nd year, Harbaugh 2nd year, Raiders sorta have a QB. If the Chiefs make a run again next year they will be a better team and I think people will see that. If they have the same issues from last year I dont think they'll get very far.

The Chiefs were not as good as their 15-2 record last season - they were very lucky to win several of their games, they beat the Raiders on the bizarre turnover, the Broncos on the blocked kick, the Bengals and Chargers on last second FGs, the Ravens on the last play incomplete end zone pass, the Bucs in OT, those are right off the top of my head. I’m not surprised their luck ran out in the Super Bowl.

The Ravens were the best AFC team last year IMO, if they had gotten by the Bills, which they might have if Andrews hadn’t dropped the 2 point pass, I think they would’ve beaten the Chiefs, and I think they would’ve been the AFC team with the best chance to beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs are definitely in a tough division now - the Broncos look very strong, their D is stellar and their O should improve with Nix in his second year and a solid group around him, the Chargers also look strong, they have a lot of talent on both sides and Harbaugh is in his second year like you say, and the Raiders are definitely improved on paper and should be a much better team.

I’m interested to see how the Chiefs look this year, if their receivers stay healthy I could see Mahomes putting up bigger numbers and them having a more explosive O, with Rice back, Brown back, Worthy in his second year, I could see them having a more explosive O, but at the same time Kelce is aging and his production dropped some last year, he’s not what he used to be and he’s been by far Mahomes’ top receiving target. Like you say, their D is good but not great - their edge rush a bit of a concern behind Karlaftis IMO, they need Anudike-Uzomah to be much more productive, he’s been pretty much a bust his first 2 seasons given that he was a first round pick, the rookie Gillotte might help the edge rush. Chiefs secondary is rather young but pretty good.

You know more about the Chiefs than I do as they are your team, I’m very interested to see how they do, lately teams that have lost the Super Bowl tend to struggle the following year, the Chiefs have a great QB and a good amount of talent so I doubt they fall too much, but who knows.
