If Tmac takes that 2 year deal he would have to be thinking he can hit FA faster to cash in again at 32 years old and still have 2 years with JD5 to compete for a Super bowl. Its not a bad deal for both sides. Tmac has a good head on his shoulders if this is for real, he should consider it. what does Tmac mean by long term deal? 3 years 4 years?

he has to know that we should be competing for Super bowls in the next couple of years. He shouldnt cause too many waves against peters.

If he signs an extension of two years, he would be here for three more years under contract.

I would like to resign him at about 30-32 apy
That's $ 1 million less than the offer I put out. 33M is the average for Deebo, and I think Terry measures up well against him. However, if they can get him to sign for 30-32 million, all the better.

If his representatives don't know and haven't informed him of the odds against a 32+-year-old WR getting a lucrative extension, which are extremely low, then they all must be fired. That said, this is his only opportunity to get a contract that ends in his thirties. A two-year extension ends at age 32, and so, from their perspective, the best move has to be adding more years to this agreement. To me, that will be the biggest sticking point against finalizing this deal, and one that Washington must not cave on.

Correct!! He's 29 now (September 15, 1995) and will be 32 at the end of a two-year extension.

if he gets a ext. That new deal starts this year, right?

Typically a new deal continues on with a signing bonus paid up front and guaranteed salaries of various amounts.

TM get 15.5 mil this season.

It would probably look like this…3 year extension worth 100 million…30 mil signing bonus.

2025 15.5 mil salary
2026 20 mil salary
2027 20 mil salary
2028 20 mil salary

The signing bonus is divided through the seasons of the contract. They will obviously not do 20 mil per season perfectly.

I was never banned. Who said I was banned? Ask anybody.....I was never banned.

You had it out for Daniels and everybody saw it.
This is rich coming from a guy said Joe Milton would be better than Daniels because your SEC friends said so:dhd:

So now you are dragging the debate here from the college football board? Nice move.

Skinsdad, this guy is a troll from the college football board. I embarassed him there and now he is following me around it appears.

He has already been banned FYI. Feel free to ban him again as he is an LA Rams fan who is a troll. Do as you see fit.

Not sure but I know we should try to have a great secondary if we're going into the season with what we have at Defensive End
I get it, but we also have to stand behind our desires to sign players by providing at minimum reasonable contract offers or trade scenarios. As I sometimes browse the internet there always seems to be a story linking this franchise to newly released players or those deemed tradable. My questions regarding all of them is how does it get done and if they are upgrades what happens to the guy currently holding the position? At the end of the day, these included scenarios spur conversation, which if I'm not mistaken, has made this one of the most active boards on the hoop.
